شهد ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام افتتاح المركز الإقليمي اللوجستي الجديد التابع لشركة «أبيات»، وذلك برعاية وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للموانئ السعودية (موانئ) المهندس صالح بن ناصر الجاسر.

ويقام هذا المشروع على مساحة تزيد على 110 آلاف متر مربع، وبقيمة استثمارية تتجاوز 100 مليون ريال، ضمن جهود «موانئ» لتطوير بنية تحتية متكاملة وفعّالة تدعم سلاسل الإمداد وتعزز الحركة التجارية في المملكة والمنطقة.

وخلال الافتتاح، أكد الوزير المهندس صالح بن ناصر الجاسر أن المركز اللوجستي الإقليمي يجسد الشراكة الفاعلة بين الهيئة العامة للموانئ والقطاع الخاص، ويعد خطوة نوعية نحو تعزيز التنافسية، وزيادة الكفاءة التشغيلية للموانئ، ودعم النمو الاقتصادي المستدام، بما يسهم في تحقيق «رؤية السعودية 2030».

وأشار إلى أن الاستثمارات المتنامية في قطاع الموانئ تسهم بشكل مباشر في رفع الطاقة الاستيعابية للموانئ وزيادة ميزتها التنافسية، بما يعزز دورها كمحرك رئيسي في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وترسيخ مكانة المملكة كمركز لوجستي عالمي.

من جانبه، أوضح الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة «أبيات» محمد خالد أبل أن حضور وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية رئيس مجلس إدارة «موانئ» المهندس صالح بن ناصر الجاسر، ورئيس الهيئة العامة للموانئ المهندس سليمان بن خالد المزروع، ومدير عام العمليات المركزية بهيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك السعودية زكريا السديس لافتتاح المركز يشكل رسالة واضحة على حجم الدعم الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة للقطاع اللوجستي والمشاريع التنموية.

وأشار إلى أن هذا الاهتمام يجسد التزام المملكة بتمكين الخدمات اللوجستية وتعزيز تنافسية الاقتصاد الوطني، تحقيقاً لتوجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده الأمين في بناء منظومة لوجستية عالمية متقدمة تقود المستقبل وتفتح آفاقاً أوسع للنمو والتنمية.

وأوضح أبل أن المشروع يضم منطقة الإيداع الجمركي المتكاملة بمساحة 40 ألف متر مربع، وهي منطقة مخصصة لتخزين البضائع تحت الإشراف الجمركي، مبيناً أن «أبيات» تعد من أوائل الشركات الحاصلة على ترخيص لإنشاء وتشغيل مثل هذه المناطق.

وثمّن دور الهيئة العامة للموانئ وهيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك في تقديم التسهيلات والإجراءات التي أسهمت في تعزيز بيئة العمل ورفع جاهزية القطاع الخاص، في تجسيد واضح لرؤية وطنية جعلت من المملكة مركزاً لوجستياً إقليمياً وعالمياً رائداً.

ولفت أبل إلى أن منطقة الإيداع الجمركي ستمكّن «أبيات» من تسريع إجراءات التخليص الجمركي، ورفع كفاءة تدفّق البضائع، وتقليل زمن عبور الشحنات، إضافة إلى خفض التكاليف التشغيلية عبر تجميع الشحنات وإدارة مراحل التخزين قبل التوزيع، بما يدعم العمليات اللوجستية داخل المملكة ودول الخليج العربي.

وأضاف أن هذا التطوير يعزّز القدرات التشغيلية للشركة ويواكب النمو المتسارع في قطاع مواد البناء والتشييد، ويأتي ضمن إستراتيجية «أبيات» لتوسيع قدراتها التشغيلية وتعزيز إدارة سلاسل الإمداد وسرعة وصول المنتجات لمختلف مناطق المملكة والخليج.

وأشار إلى أن افتتاح المستودعات الجديدة يعد إنجازاً إستراتيجياً يعكس التزام «أبيات» بدعم منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية في المملكة، كما يشكل ركيزة أساسية في خطط التوسع الإقليمي للشركة.

وعبر أبل عن سعادته بتحول «أبيات» لتكون مورّداً رئيسياً لخدمات مشاريع كبرى عبر إدارة مشاريع متكاملة تخدم السوق السعودية، مبيناً أن الشركة تمتلك مصانع على مساحة 120 ألف متر مربع بالتعاون مع «مدن» وصندوق التنمية الصناعية السعودي، لتصبح منتجاتها تحمل فخر «صُنع في السعودية»، إضافة إلى خلق أكثر من 1400 فرصة وظيفية، وجعل صناعات المطابخ والأبواب والنوافذ سعودية بالكامل، مما يعزز دورها كشريك رئيسي في التنمية الاقتصادية والعمرانية.

The King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam witnessed the inauguration of the new regional logistics center belonging to "Abayat," under the patronage of the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser.

This project is established over an area exceeding 110,000 square meters, with an investment value exceeding 100 million riyals, as part of Mawani's efforts to develop an integrated and efficient infrastructure that supports supply chains and enhances commercial movement in the Kingdom and the region.

During the inauguration, Minister Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser confirmed that the regional logistics center embodies the effective partnership between the Saudi Ports Authority and the private sector, and represents a qualitative step towards enhancing competitiveness, increasing the operational efficiency of ports, and supporting sustainable economic growth, contributing to achieving "Saudi Vision 2030."

He pointed out that the growing investments in the ports sector directly contribute to increasing the ports' capacity and enhancing their competitive advantage, thereby reinforcing their role as a key driver in supporting the national economy and establishing the Kingdom as a global logistics hub.

For his part, the CEO of "Abayat," Mohammed Khalid Abal, stated that the presence of the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of Mawani, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the Chairman of the Saudi Ports Authority, Engineer Suleiman bin Khalid Al-Mazrou, and the Director General of Central Operations at the Saudi Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, Zakaria Al-Sudais, at the inauguration of the center sends a clear message about the level of support that the wise leadership provides to the logistics sector and developmental projects.

He noted that this interest reflects the Kingdom's commitment to enabling logistics services and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy, in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince to build an advanced global logistics system that leads the future and opens wider horizons for growth and development.

Abal explained that the project includes an integrated customs deposit area of 40,000 square meters, which is a designated area for storing goods under customs supervision, indicating that "Abayat" is among the first companies to obtain a license to establish and operate such areas.

He appreciated the role of the Saudi Ports Authority and the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority in providing the facilities and procedures that contributed to enhancing the work environment and increasing the readiness of the private sector, in a clear embodiment of a national vision that has made the Kingdom a leading regional and global logistics hub.

Abal pointed out that the customs deposit area will enable "Abayat" to expedite customs clearance procedures, enhance the efficiency of goods flow, and reduce the transit time of shipments, in addition to lowering operational costs through consolidating shipments and managing storage phases before distribution, thereby supporting logistics operations within the Kingdom and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

He added that this development enhances the operational capabilities of the company and keeps pace with the rapid growth in the construction and building materials sector, and is part of "Abayat's" strategy to expand its operational capabilities and enhance supply chain management and the speed of product delivery to various regions of the Kingdom and the Gulf.

He indicated that the opening of the new warehouses is a strategic achievement that reflects "Abayat's" commitment to supporting the transport and logistics services system in the Kingdom, and also serves as a fundamental pillar in the company's regional expansion plans.

Abal expressed his happiness with "Abayat's" transformation into a major supplier of services for major projects through managing integrated projects that serve the Saudi market, noting that the company owns factories over an area of 120,000 square meters in collaboration with "Modon" and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, making its products proudly carry the label "Made in Saudi Arabia," in addition to creating more than 1,400 job opportunities, and making the industries of kitchens, doors, and windows entirely Saudi, thereby enhancing its role as a key partner in economic and urban development.
