في واقعة جديدة تُضاف إلى سلسلة حوادث «انهيار الركاب» على متن الرحلات الجوية الأمريكية، تحولت رحلة داخلية من مطار نيويورك نيوارك ليبرتي إلى تشارلستون بولاية ساوث كارولينا إلى فوضى كاملة، بعدما فقدت راكبة أعصابها نتيجة تأخير طويل قبل الإقلاع.
تأخير مرهق يدفع الركاب للانفجار
وبحسب مقطع فيديو صوّره أحد الركاب وانتشر على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، تأخرت الرحلة أكثر من 3 ساعات داخل صالة المطار، قبل أن تبقى الطائرة على المدرج نحو ساعة ونصف إضافية في انتظار الإذن بالإقلاع، ليصل إجمالي التأخير إلى ما يزيد على 4 ساعات ونصف.
هذا التأخير دفع كثيراً من الركاب إلى التململ والتوتر، غير أن إحدى الراكبات انفجرت غضباً بطريقة وصفت بأنها «غير مسبوقة»، إذ أظهر الفيديو المرأة وهي تنهض فجأة من مقعدها، وتصرخ في وجه مضيفة الطيران مستخدمة ألفاظاً مسيئة، بينما حاولت الخروج من صف المقاعد رغم تحذيرات الطاقم والإبقاء على أحزمة الأمان مشدودة.
نوبة غضب تُعيد الطائرة إلى البوابة
وحاول عدد من الركاب التدخل لتهدئتها، لكنها واصلت الصراخ ورفضت الجلوس، فيما علق الراكب الذي نشر المقطع عبر منصة «تيك توك» قائلاً: «لقد فقدت السيطرة تماماً واضطررنا للعودة إلى البوابة لإنزالها من الطائرة».
تعامل الطاقم الجوي مع الموقف بهدوء لافت، إذ تم استدعاء عناصر الأمن في المطار، وأُعيدت الطائرة فعلياً إلى البوابة، وجرى إنزال الراكبة دون وقوع إصابات أو أي احتكاك جسدي، قبل أن تعاود الطائرة الإقلاع إلى وجهتها بعد نحو 45 دقيقة إضافية.
تصاعد حوادث «الركاب غير المنضبطين»
وتأتي هذه الحادثة في ظل ارتفاع واضح في عدد وقائع «الركاب غير المنضبطين» داخل الولايات المتحدة؛ إذ سجّلت إدارة الطيران الفيدرالية خلال 2025 أكثر من 2100 بلاغ من هذا النوع حتى الآن، يرتبط معظمها بتأخيرات طويلة، وضغوط السفر، والتوتر النفسي المتصاعد بين المسافرين.

Exhausting Delay Drives Passengers to Explode
According to a video filmed by one of the passengers and circulated on social media, the flight was delayed for more than 3 hours inside the airport terminal, before the plane remained on the runway for an additional hour and a half waiting for takeoff clearance, bringing the total delay to over 4 and a half hours.
This delay caused many passengers to become restless and anxious, but one passenger exploded in anger in a manner described as "unprecedented," as the video showed the woman suddenly getting up from her seat and shouting at the flight attendant using abusive language, while she attempted to exit the row of seats despite the crew's warnings to keep their seatbelts fastened.
Outburst Forces Plane Back to the Gate
Several passengers tried to intervene to calm her down, but she continued to scream and refused to sit down, while the passenger who posted the clip on TikTok commented: "She completely lost control, and we had to return to the gate to remove her from the plane."
The flight crew handled the situation with remarkable calm, as airport security was called, and the plane was actually returned to the gate, where the passenger was removed without any injuries or physical altercations, before the plane took off again for its destination after about an additional 45 minutes.
Rise in Incidents of "Unruly Passengers"
This incident comes amid a clear increase in the number of "unruly passenger" incidents within the United States; the Federal Aviation Administration recorded over 2,100 reports of this type so far in 2025, most of which are related to long delays, travel pressures, and rising psychological stress among travelers.
