أصدرت وزارة السياحة والآثار في مصر بيانا رسميا ردا على ما أثير حول قرار السلطات المصرية برفع رسوم تأشيرة الدخول إلى البلاد من 25 دولارًا إلى 45 دولارًا، مؤكدة أن ما تم اتخاذه من قرارات في الوقت الحالي هو تحديد الحد الأقصى فقط لرسوم التأشيرة وليس تطبيق زيادتها.
وأكدت أن الأنباء المتداولة عن تطبيق رفع رسوم التأشيرة «عارية تمامًا» من الصحة، وأنه لم يتم اتخاذ أي قرارات تنفيذية تخص زيادة رسوم تأشيرة الدخول إلى مصر.
وأشار البيان الرسمي إلى أن قرار تحديد الحد الأقصى جاء في إطار تعديلات تشريعية على القانون رقم 175 لسنة 2025 المُتعلق بـفرض رسم لمباني وزارة الخارجية.
وشددت وزارة السياحة والآثار على أن ما يتم تداوله هو مجرد شائعات، مؤكدة على أن أي معلومات تتعلق بتأشيرات الدخول أو غيرها يتم الإعلان عنها، كما هو معتاد، عبر بيانات رسمية تصدر عن الجهات التنفيذية المعنية بالدولة.
وكان قد صدر القانون رقم 175 لسنة 2025 بتعديل بعض أحكام القانون رقم 111 لسنة 1983 الخاص برسوم الخدمات التي تقدمها وزارة الخارجية، ونص التعديل على أن يحدد بقرار من رئيس مجلس الوزراء الحد الأقصى لرسم تأشيرة الدخول السياحية بما لا يتجاوز 45 دولارا أمريكيا أو ما يعادله.
وأثار القرار موجة جدل حول مدى تأثيره على حركة السياحة الوافدة إلى مصر، بعدما سجلت أعداد السائحين الوافدين زيادة بنسبة 25 ٪ في النصف الأول من العام، بحسب البيانات الرسمية.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Egypt issued an official statement in response to the discussions surrounding the Egyptian authorities' decision to raise the entry visa fees from $25 to $45, confirming that the current decisions made are only to set a maximum limit for the visa fees and not to implement an increase.
It confirmed that the circulating news about the application of the visa fee increase is "completely unfounded," and that no executive decisions have been made regarding an increase in the entry visa fees to Egypt.
The official statement indicated that the decision to set the maximum limit came within the framework of legislative amendments to Law No. 175 of 2025 related to imposing fees for the buildings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities emphasized that what is being circulated is merely rumors, asserting that any information related to entry visas or others will be announced, as usual, through official statements issued by the relevant executive authorities in the country.
The law No. 175 of 2025 was issued to amend some provisions of Law No. 111 of 1983 concerning the fees for services provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the amendment stipulated that the maximum limit for the tourist entry visa fee be determined by a decision from the Prime Minister, not to exceed $45 or its equivalent.
The decision has sparked a wave of debate regarding its impact on the incoming tourism movement to Egypt, after the number of incoming tourists recorded a 25% increase in the first half of the year, according to official data.
