أعلنت إدارة مهرجان البحر الأحمر السينمائي تعليق جميع الأنشطة والفعاليات وعروض الأفلام اليوم (الثلاثاء)، 9 ديسمبر، بسبب الأحوال الجوية في جدة، حفاظًا على سلامة الضيوف والقائمين على المهرجان.
إغلاق المواقع وتأجيل الأنشطة
وأكدت الإدارة في بيان رسمي أن سوق البحر الأحمر وميدان الثقافة سيغلقان لبقية اليوم نتيجة الأمطار الغزيرة والتقلبات الجوية، مشيرة إلى أن جميع الأنشطة والبرامج ستُستأنف غدًا.
ودعت الإدارة جميع الضيوف لمتابعة القنوات الرسمية وتطبيق المهرجان للحصول على آخر المستجدات.
الأحوال الجوية في جدة
وشهدت محافظة جدة هطول أمطار غزيرة شملت مساحات واسعة من المحافظة، وكانت أكثر كثافة في شمال المدينة حسب المتحدث باسم أمانة جدة محمد البقمي.
وأوضح المتحدث أن الأنفاق لم تغلق حتى الآن، وسيتم الإعلان عن أي إغلاق عند الضرورة، مشيرًا إلى أن الفرق الميدانية لمتابعة الحالة بلغت 7 آلاف فرد.
جهود أمانة جدة لضمان السلامة
ودعت الأمانة السكان إلى الإبلاغ عن تجمعات المياه والحالات الطارئة عبر قنواتها الرسمية، مؤكدة أنها باشرت جهودها الميدانية لمعالجة المواقع المتأثرة ورفع تجمعات المياه لضمان سلامة المواطنين وانسيابية الحركة في الطرق.

The management confirmed in an official statement that the Red Sea Market and the Cultural Square will be closed for the rest of the day due to heavy rain and weather fluctuations, noting that all activities and programs will resume tomorrow.
The management urged all guests to follow the official channels and the festival app for the latest updates.
Weather Conditions in Jeddah
The Jeddah Governorate has witnessed heavy rainfall covering wide areas of the governorate, with the heaviest intensity in the northern part of the city, according to the spokesperson for the Jeddah Municipality, Mohammed Al-Buqami.
The spokesperson clarified that the tunnels have not been closed so far, and any closures will be announced as necessary, indicating that the field teams monitoring the situation consist of 7,000 individuals.
Efforts of the Jeddah Municipality to Ensure Safety
The municipality urged residents to report water accumulations and emergencies through its official channels, confirming that it has initiated its field efforts to address affected areas and remove water accumulations to ensure the safety of citizens and the smooth flow of traffic on the roads.
