رغم التحديات التي أفرزتها الإجراءات الأحادية من قبل المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي إلا أن الشعب اليمني يراهن كثيراً على الجهود السعودية المخلصة التي لم تتوقف منذ الساعات الأولى لاندلاع الخلاف بين رفقاء السلاح والأخوة في مائدة السياسة والدفاع عن مصالح اليمن العليا منذ اليوم الأولى للانقلاب.

وأكد زعيم قبائل خولان بن عامر في صعدة يحيى مقيت على ضرورة أن يصغي المجلس الانتقالي لصوت العقل والحكمة ويتوقف عن أي تحركات عسكرية يمكن أن تزعزع أمن اليمن واستقراره، وينسحب من المواقع التي سيطر عليها، ويطلق من جرى اعتقالهم من العسكريين والمدنيين، موضحاً أن موقف المملكة كان واضحاً منذ الساعات الأولى للأحداث وهو رفض أي إجراءات أحادية اتخذها المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي في حضرموت.

وأشار مقيت إلى أن أي تحركات تعد مخالفة صريحة لمرجعيات المرحلة الانتقالية في اليمن وتقويضاً لسلطة الحكومة الشرعية، وتهديداً خطيراً للاستقرار، ومستقبل العملية السياسية في اليمن، ومحاولة للقفز على جميع الأطر القانونية والسياسية، وتبنّياً لمنهج الحوثي المدّمر لليمن.

من جهته، قال عضو المشاورات اليمنية مصطفى القطيبي: هذه التحركات خطيرة جداً وتهدّد بتقسيم اليمن وتدمير مستقبله، بل ستكون لها انعكاسات سلبية على المعركة الوطنية ضد الحوثي، موضحاً أن «الانتقالي» لم يفكر جيداً بمصالح الشعب اليمني وذهب في إجراء أحادي ستكون عواقبه وخيمة على الجميع.

موقف سعودي رافض للتقسيم

وأوضح القطيبي أن موقف السعودية واضح وثابت؛ لن تسمح بتقيسم اليمن بل إنها مع الحلول السلمية وإعطاء كل ذي حق حقه، ومع حق الشعب اليمني في كل المحافظات، وترعى المصالحة بين «الشرعية» ومكوّناتها، وتبذل جهوداً كبيرة منذ فترة طويلة وحتى اليوم، ونثق بها وبتحركاتها.

وأضاف: «الانتقالي» يتعجّل قطف الثمار مع أن القضية الجنوبية في قلب أي حل قادم والجميع يعلم ذلك، ولا توجد أي مزايدة على القضية الجنوبية ليس من اليوم بل من مؤتمر الحوار الوطني، وجرت إعادة العسكريين والأراضي، وكثير من القضايا جرى إصلاحها، إضافة إلى الشراكة السياسية، وأصبحت تُقدّم على كل القضايا منذ مؤتمر الحوار الوطني وحتى اليوم، ونحن حريصون على وحدة الصف الوطني في مواجهة الحوثي ونقدّم القضية الجنوبية من أجل ذلك ونطمئن إخواننا الجنوبيين أننا حريصون على مصالحهم أكثر من حرصنا على مصالحنا وأنهم شركاء مهمون لنا.

دبلوماسية سعودية داعمة لليمن

بطبيعة الحال فإن مختلف المكوّنات السياسية والقبلية وكذلك دول تحالف الشرعية والمجتمع الدولي ومنذ اتفاقية الخليج ومؤتمر الحوار الوطني وحتى اليوم، يؤكدون مراراً أن القضية الجنوبية هي جوهر أي مفاوضات قادمة، وأنها قضية عادلة وحلها لن يكن إلا بالحوار بين مختلف مكوّنات الشعب اليمني، وهو ما أكده رئيس الوفد السعودي اللواء محمد القحطاني في لقاءاته المستمرة والمتواصلة في حضرموت مع مختلف شرائح المجتمع الحضرمي المشهود له بالرزانة والحكمة والعقلانية، وشدّد على أن قضية الجنوب موجودة في أي تسوية سياسية قادمة وهي جوهر أي عملية سياسية كونها عادلة ولا يمكن تجاهلها أو تجاوزها، مؤكداً موقف المملكة الواضح في المطالبة بخروج قوات «الانتقالي» وعودتها لمعسكراتها وتولي قوات درع الوطن حماية المعسكرات في حضرموت والمهرة.

بدوره، يرى رئيس تحرير «المشهد اليمني» عبدالرحمن البيل أن السعودية التي ذهبت دبلوماسيتها إلى الشرق والغرب في عمل دؤوب ومخلص تسعى بالانتقال باليمن من مرحلة النزاعات إلى مرحلة يسودها الاستقرار والأمن وتحقيق التطلعات والرخاء والازدهار والالتحاق بركب دول المنطقة في التنمية والازدهار، لكن ما يحدث اليوم في حضرموت والمهرة خطير، ونأمل أن يستوعب المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي حساسية الوضع والمرحلة خصوصاً أن القضية الجنوبية تحتل مكانة مهمة في الحلول السياسية وفي أي مشاورات أو مفاوضات سياسية.

وفي ظل المواقف اليمنية الحريصة على حماية البلاد من أي مخاطر والعمل على توحيد الصف الوطني في مواجهة التهديدات الأخرى فإن جميع المكوّنات السياسية اليمنية مجمعة على ضرورة عودة اللُحمة الوطنية ورفض أي اجراء أحادي من قبل المجلس الانتقالي، فلم تعد القضية الجنوبية حكراً على شخصية معينة بل في رأس الأولويات لتنال حلها العادل عقب عودة مؤسسات الدولة كافة وجلوس الجميع (شمالاً وجنوباً) على طاولة واحدة عنوانها: المحبة والسلام والشراكة الدائمة وبناء دولة يمنية قوية.

Despite the challenges posed by the unilateral actions of the Southern Transitional Council, the Yemeni people place great hope in the sincere Saudi efforts that have not ceased since the early hours of the outbreak of the conflict among comrades in arms and brothers at the political table, defending Yemen's supreme interests since the first day of the coup.

The leader of the Khawlan bin Amer tribes in Saada, Yahya Muqait, emphasized the necessity for the Transitional Council to heed the voice of reason and wisdom, to cease any military movements that could destabilize Yemen's security and stability, to withdraw from the sites it has occupied, and to release those who have been detained, both military and civilian. He clarified that the Kingdom's position has been clear since the early hours of the events, which is a rejection of any unilateral actions taken by the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout.

Muqait pointed out that any movements considered a blatant violation of the transitional references in Yemen undermine the authority of the legitimate government, pose a serious threat to stability, the future of the political process in Yemen, and attempt to bypass all legal and political frameworks, adopting the destructive approach of the Houthis towards Yemen.

For his part, Yemeni consultations member Mustafa Al-Qatibi stated: These movements are very dangerous and threaten to divide Yemen and destroy its future, and they will have negative repercussions on the national battle against the Houthis, explaining that the "Transitional" has not adequately considered the interests of the Yemeni people and has taken a unilateral action that will have dire consequences for everyone.

Saudi Position Rejecting Division

Al-Qatibi clarified that Saudi Arabia's position is clear and steadfast; it will not allow the division of Yemen, but rather supports peaceful solutions and giving everyone their due rights, and it stands with the rights of the Yemeni people in all governorates. It sponsors reconciliation between the "legitimacy" and its components and has been making significant efforts for a long time until today, and we trust it and its movements.

He added: "The Transitional" is hastening to reap the fruits even though the Southern issue is at the heart of any upcoming solution, and everyone knows that. There is no competition over the Southern issue, not from today but since the National Dialogue Conference. Military personnel and lands have been returned, and many issues have been resolved, in addition to political partnership, which has been prioritized over all issues since the National Dialogue Conference until today. We are keen on national unity in the face of the Houthis and present the Southern issue for that purpose, assuring our Southern brothers that we care about their interests more than we care about our own and that they are important partners for us.

Supportive Saudi Diplomacy for Yemen

Naturally, various political and tribal components, as well as the legitimacy coalition countries and the international community, since the Gulf Agreement and the National Dialogue Conference until today, repeatedly affirm that the Southern issue is the essence of any upcoming negotiations, that it is a just cause, and its resolution can only be achieved through dialogue among the various components of the Yemeni people. This was confirmed by the head of the Saudi delegation, Major General Mohammed Al-Qahtani, in his ongoing meetings in Hadramout with various segments of the Hadrami community, known for its wisdom and rationality. He stressed that the Southern issue is present in any upcoming political settlement and is the essence of any political process as it is just and cannot be ignored or bypassed, reaffirming the Kingdom's clear position in demanding the withdrawal of "Transitional" forces and their return to their camps, with the National Shield Forces taking over the protection of the camps in Hadramout and Al-Mahra.

For his part, the editor-in-chief of "The Yemeni Scene," Abdulrahman Al-Bayl, believes that Saudi Arabia, whose diplomacy has reached out to the East and West in diligent and sincere efforts, seeks to transition Yemen from a phase of conflicts to a phase dominated by stability and security, achieving aspirations, prosperity, and joining the ranks of regional countries in development and prosperity. However, what is happening today in Hadramout and Al-Mahra is dangerous, and we hope that the Southern Transitional Council will understand the sensitivity of the situation and the phase, especially since the Southern issue occupies an important place in political solutions and in any political consultations or negotiations.

In light of the Yemeni positions keen on protecting the country from any dangers and working to unify the national front in the face of other threats, all Yemeni political components agree on the necessity of restoring national cohesion and rejecting any unilateral action by the Transitional Council. The Southern issue is no longer restricted to a particular individual but is now at the forefront of priorities to achieve its just resolution following the return of all state institutions and the gathering of everyone (North and South) at one table titled: love, peace, and permanent partnership, and building a strong Yemeni state.
