كشف نائب وزير الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية للعمل الدكتور عبدالله أبوثنين أن الوزارة عملت بالشراكة مع القطاع الخاص، ومن خلال 13 مجلس قطاعي للمهارات على مبادرات وبرامج وطنية لسد الفجوة المهارية، إضافة إلى أعمال استباقية لاستشراف متطلبات سوق العمل والتنبؤ بالمهارات الجديدة لإعداد القوى العاملة.

وأضاف خلال مؤتمر التمويل التنموي، أن الوزارة توظف البيانات لاستشراف العرض والطلب، وتتابع باستمرار اتجاهات أسواق العمل للتكيف مع التغيرات الاقتصادية والتقنية التي يشهدها العالم.

وأشار إلى أن الذكاء الاصطناعي بدأ فعلاً وبشكل متسارع في إحداث تحولات جذرية في أسواق العمل حول العالم، وفي سبيل استثمار هذه التقنيات لخلق وظائف جديدة، تعمل الوزارة على تطوير وإعادة تأهيل القوى العاملة بالمهارات اللازمة لتعزيز الإنتاجية والتنافسية في هذا المسار.

The Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, Dr. Abdullah Abu Thnein, revealed that the ministry has partnered with the private sector, and through 13 sectoral councils for skills, has launched national initiatives and programs to bridge the skills gap, in addition to proactive efforts to anticipate labor market requirements and predict new skills for workforce preparation.

He added during the Development Financing Conference that the ministry employs data to anticipate supply and demand, continuously monitoring labor market trends to adapt to the economic and technological changes occurring globally.

He pointed out that artificial intelligence has already begun to rapidly bring about radical transformations in labor markets around the world, and in order to leverage these technologies to create new jobs, the ministry is working on developing and retraining the workforce with the necessary skills to enhance productivity and competitiveness in this area.
