في لحظاتٍ تحبس الأنفاس، تحوّل أحد شوارع بيروت الهادئة إلى مسرح لحادثٍة صادمة كادت أن تخطف من الساحة الفنية واحدة من أكثر نجماتها حضوراً، فقد نجت الفنانة اللبنانية لورا خباز من تصادم مروّع وقع الخميس، وانتشرت بعده موجة قلق عارمة بين محبّيها، خصوصاً بعد تداول مقطع مصوّر يوثّق وصول طاقم الإسعاف التابع للصليب الأحمر اللبناني إلى موقع الحادثة لنقلها بسرعة إلى المستشفى وإجراء الفحوص الطبية اللازمة. وبين تضارب الأخبار وتنامي التساؤلات، بقي الجمهور معلّقاً على خبر الاطمئنان على وضعها الصحي.
وكشف شقيقها الفنان جورج خباز، في تصريحات صحفية، أن الحادثة كانت بالغة الخطورة، إلا أن لورا خرجت منها بإصابات طفيفة فقط. وأكد أن العناية الإلهية أنقذت شقيقته من أذى كبير، مشيراً إلى أن حجم الأضرار التي لحقت بسيارتها يعكس قوة الاصطدام، رغم عدم تعرضها لأي إصابات جسدية خطيرة.
وأوضح جورج خباز أنه يتواجد حالياً في جدة لحضور فعاليات الدورة الخامسة من مهرجان البحر الأحمر السينمائي الدولي، لكنه يتابع باستمرار الحالة الصحية لشقيقته، مطمئناً محبيها بأنها تجاوزت الحادثة، وأن وضعها مستقر.
وكان رواد مواقع التواصل قد تداولوا تسجيلاً يُظهر لحظة وصول سيارة الإسعاف إلى موقع الحادثة، ونقل لورا خباز إلى المستشفى لإجراء الفحوص الطبية للتأكد من سلامتها.

Amid conflicting news and growing questions, the public remained anxious for updates on her health status.
Her brother, artist George Khabbaz, revealed in press statements that the incident was extremely serious, but Laura emerged with only minor injuries. He confirmed that divine providence saved his sister from significant harm, noting that the extent of the damage to her car reflects the force of the collision, despite her not suffering any serious physical injuries.
George Khabbaz explained that he is currently in Jeddah to attend the fifth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival, but he is continuously monitoring his sister's health condition, reassuring her fans that she has overcome the incident and that her condition is stable.
Social media users shared a recording showing the moment the ambulance arrived at the scene of the incident and transported Laura Khabbaz to the hospital for medical examinations to ensure her safety.
