في حدث غير مسبوق، سلّمت نقابة الشرطة في برلين أكثر من 2.2 مليون توقيع لعريضة شعبية بعنوان «حظر الألعاب النارية على مستوى ألمانيا، الآن!» إلى رئيس مؤتمر وزراء داخلية الولايات أولريش مويرر خلال المؤتمر السنوي في مدينة بريمن شمالي البلاد.
شرطة ألمانيا تقول: «كفى»
وقال رئيس فرع نقابة الشرطة في برلين شتيفان فيه: «هذه ليست مجرد عريضة.. إنها أكبر عريضة شعبية في تاريخ ألمانيا الحديث. نريد ليلة رأس سنة آمنة لقوات الطوارئ.. كفى إصابات، كفى حرائق، كفى هجمات بالصواريخ على رجال الشرطة والإطفاء».
تفاصيل العريضة
انطلقت العريضة على منصة Campact، وتجاوزت هدفها الأصلي (مليون توقيع) بأكثر من الضعف خلال أقل من شهرين. وتطالب بفرض حظر شامل ودائم على بيع واستخدام الألعاب النارية الخاصة من الفئتين F2 وF3 في جميع أنحاء ألمانيا، مع السماح فقط بالعروض الاحترافية المنظمة من البلديات.
موقف المسؤولين
يدعم وزير داخلية ولاية بريمن أولريش مويرر، ورئيس مؤتمر وزراء الداخلية الألمان، فرض حظر واسع على الألعاب النارية، وهو الموقف نفسه الذي تتبناه وزيرة داخلية ولاية برلين، إيريس شبرانجر، حيث يدعو الطرفان إلى منح الولايات والبلديات صلاحيات مباشرة لوضع قواعد صارمة لتنظيم بيع واستخدام الألعاب النارية، بما يحد من الفوضى ويعزز سلامة المواطنين وقوات الطوارئ.
وتتحول شوارع المدن الألمانية إلى ساحات خطرة في ليلة احتفالات رأس السنة، ففي رأس السنة الماضية فقط أُصيب 4200 شخص، بينهم 127 بفقدان البصر أو الأطراف، وتعرض 187 من رجال الشرطة والإطفاء لهجمات مباشرة بالصواريخ والمفرقعات، بينما اندلع 4800 حريق في عموم البلاد بتكلفة تجاوزت 145 مليون يورو، وسجلت برلين وحدها 680 دخولاً إلى الطوارئ، ما يعكس حجم الفوضى والمخاطر المرتبطة باستخدام الألعاب النارية بشكل غير منظم.
In an unprecedented event, the Berlin Police Union delivered more than 2.2 million signatures for a popular petition titled "Ban Fireworks Nationwide, Now!" to the President of the Conference of Interior Ministers of the States, Ulrich Mäurer, during the annual conference in the city of Bremen in northern Germany.
Germany's Police Say: "Enough"
Stefan Vieh, head of the Berlin Police Union branch, stated: "This is not just a petition... It is the largest popular petition in modern German history. We want a safe New Year's Eve for emergency services... Enough injuries, enough fires, enough rocket attacks on police and firefighters."
Details of the Petition
The petition was launched on the Campact platform and surpassed its original goal (one million signatures) by more than double in less than two months. It calls for a comprehensive and permanent ban on the sale and use of private fireworks from categories F2 and F3 throughout Germany, allowing only professionally organized displays by municipalities.
Officials' Stance
The Interior Minister of Bremen, Ulrich Mäurer, and the President of the German Interior Ministers' Conference support a broad ban on fireworks, which is the same position adopted by the Interior Minister of Berlin, Iris Spranger. Both parties are calling for states and municipalities to be granted direct powers to establish strict regulations for the sale and use of fireworks, aiming to reduce chaos and enhance the safety of citizens and emergency services.
The streets of German cities turn into dangerous arenas on New Year's Eve celebrations. Last New Year's Eve alone, 4,200 people were injured, including 127 who suffered loss of sight or limbs, and 187 police and firefighters faced direct attacks with rockets and firecrackers. Meanwhile, 4,800 fires broke out across the country, costing over 145 million euros, with Berlin alone recording 680 emergency entries, reflecting the scale of chaos and the dangers associated with the unregulated use of fireworks.
