• ما هي أسباب تفوق نادي أبها وتصدره دوري يلو رغم مستواه المتواضع في الموسم الماضي؟

•• التفوق بالمعنى الدقيق لم يأتِ إلا بتكاتف جهود وعمل إداري وفني متناغم، والعمل الرياضي الآن هو عمل تشاركي وتفاعلي يبدأ من العاملين من بوابة النادي إلى مجلس الإدارة مروراً بكل الطواقم الإدارية والفنية التي تحمل نفس الأهداف والرؤى والعطش للنجاح، وتحقيق المستهدفات التي يُطالب بها النادي من خلال منظومة الوزارة، وكذلك من خلال محبي الكيان الذين هم بالأساس شركاء رئيسيون وداعمون في كل الخطوات التي نمضي لها، ولا نغفل أن دوري يلو يوجد به 17 نادياً تماثلنا في الرغبة والطموح بتحقيق التفوق وحمل نفس التطلعات والطموح، ونحن في منافسات تحتمل ما تحتمله كرة القدم من عناوين الفوز والخسارة والتعادل والظروف المصاحبة لأي مباراة، وعلينا أن نتناغم معها ونتواءم ونجتهد، والتفوق في البداية والنهاية هو تراكم جهود، لا بد أن يصاحبها توفيق من الله وعون منه وتيسير.

• هل هناك تعاقدات جديدة في الفترة الشتوية؟

•• نعمل دائماً على التحسين، ولدينا مراجعات مستمرة للنشاطات والتقارير ومؤشرات الأداء، والتعاقدات تتم في بعض الأوقات بشكل سريع وتكون ميسرة ومحاطة بيسر، وفي أوقات أخرى نواجه صعوبات إزاء هذه التعاقدات على المستويين المالي والفني، ولدينا من يراجع كل ذلك ويمضي نحو أي خطوة بما تستدعيه الظروف المصاحبة، وكرة القدم وتعاقداتها مصحوبة بنجاح وربما فشل، إذ إن النجاح يسعدنا وهو ما نأمله دائماً ولو حدث، لا سمح الله، أي حظ غير جيد لا نقول فشلاً بل يعد ذلك خطوة للتعلم ودرساً مستفاداً، وجدير بالإشارة إلى أن التعاقدات الشتوية لا تكون من السهولة بمكان وتكتنفها بعض الصعوبات على مستوى البديل المناسب والحرص في ذلك.

• هل تراهن على صعود أبها لدوري روشن في نهاية الموسم؟

•• الرهان ليس مصطلحاً نستخدمه في الوقت الحالي، وهو مصطلح مبكر، حتى هدف الصعود لا نعمل عليه في العام الأول لمجلس الإدارة، وسنسير وهو أمامنا كضوء طبيعي ولكن لا نزال في أول 10 جولات من دوري طويل جداً ومنهك ومليء بالتحولات والتغيرات التي يتغير معها سلم الترتيب بشكل عجيب ودراماتيكي، وسنعمل بأقصى طاقاتنا وطموحاتنا وما نحصده في العام الأول سنكون راضين عنه، وسنكون قادرين على القياس الحقيقي لمشوار هذا العام.

• لماذا تم إلغاء بعض ألعاب النادي هذا الموسم؟

•• الإلغاء كذلك كلمة استخدمت من قبل غيرنا ولم نستخدمها، وما تم عمله هو إيقاف بعض الألعاب مدة مؤقتة، وهو إيقاف مصحوب بمبررات نرى وجاهتها وفق قرار جماعي لا فردي، وقرار خلص إليه المختصون في ظل أن هناك إنفاقاً كبيراً على هذه الألعاب مقابل عدم وجود إيراد يوازي ما يتم إنفاقه عليها أو عدم وضوح في الدعم المنتظر، ولعل ما عزز جدوى إيقاف هذه الألعاب أن هناك أندية أخرى ذات سبق على مستوى الألعاب - محل السؤال - قامت بنفس ما قام به نادي أبها، وبالتالي فهذه الألعاب ستكون محل اهتمام وإعادة بحث في أي وقت نرى مناسبة استئنافها استناداً على محوري «الدعم المالي والحفاظ على الاستدامة المالية».

• ما سبب استمرار تجاهل إدارتكم للإعلاميين على الرغم من انتقاداتكم للإدارة السابقة خلال الانتخابات؟

•• التجاهل غير موجود البتة، والنادي متاح للجميع ويسعدنا تلقي أي رأي أو نقد للتقويم لا التقويض ولم ننتقد الإدارة السابقة، وهم عملوا وقدموا جهوداً تشكر ونحن من بعدهم، وهذه عجلة الرياضة والتعاقب الإداري الطبيعي فيها، ونحتاج بالفعل إلى معرفة أين مكمن التجاهل، وهل هناك مطالبات مشروعة للإعلاميين حتى نستطيع المضي فيها ومعها، وإن كانت هناك جوانب تقصير لم نلمسها فسنتحدث فيها بكل شفافية ونكون على مسطرة واحدة من التفاهم والوعي ومعرفة الدور المطلوب من كل عنصر فاعل وفعال في المشهدين الإعلامي والرياضي.

• هل تم اختيار أعضاء مجلس الإدارة بناء على خبرات رياضية أم علاقات شخصية؟

•• أعتقد أن أجمل إجابة يمكن أن أضعها هنا هي الإحالة للسير الذاتية التي جرى إعلانها مسبقاً لأعضاء مجلس الإدارة وقبل مشوار الانتخابات، وهي تحمل في مضمونها الإجابة، وإذا تم تناولها على أنها خبرات منوعة في مجالات متعددة، والرياضة أحدها بالطبع، فذاك ما نتوقعه ونأمله، وإن تمت قراءتها على أنها علاقات شخصية فلا حيلة لنا أمام قراءة كهذه، ولا يمكن إقناع معتنقها بخلافها طالما لم يقتنع بالسير الذاتية والوجوه الشابة والعمل الذي نرى أنه جيد عطفاً على مرور ما نسبته 10% فقط من مدة مجلس الإدارة لـ4 سنوات.

• هل هناك توجه إداري لدعم وتحفيز حضور الجماهير الأبهاوية نتيجة العزوف الشديد عن مباريات الفريق؟

•• عمل الفريق المختص مستمر في مسارات الدعم والتحفيز، ومع الانتصارات المستمرة سيكون هناك حضور دون شك، مع أننا لا نرى ما تم وصفه بالضعف الشديد، إذ إن الجماهير توجد وقد يكون لتوقيت بعض المباريات دور في ذلك، خصوصاً إن لم يكن وقت المباريات في نهاية الأسبوع أو تقاطع التوقيت مع ساعات الدوام الرسمي، فيما التذبذب في الحضور الجماهيري تعاني منه أندية في دوري روشن فماذا عن التوقعات في دوري يلو، والجهود متواصلة والتفاؤل مطلب وأيضاً القادم سيكون أجمل بعون الله، وإن كانت الأرقام المسجلة للنادي في العشر الجولات الأخيرة داخل وخارج الأرض ممتازة، بالمقارنة بأعوام سابقة وكذلك مع أندية في دوري روشن.

• متى سيلعب فريق أبها على ملعبه أمام أندية يلو وكذلك أندية روشن عند الصعود؟

•• سيلعب بتكاتف الإعلام والحديث المستمر عن هذا الحلم والدعم من كل من يملك تحقيق ذلك، والواقع الذي أمامنا لا نملك شيئاً تجاهه، لكون الاشتراطات والضوابط لا تنطبق على الملعب الحالي، وهو ملعب أصبح أمامنا وأي رغبة ميدانية نحو فعل تغيير جذري هي رهن دعم الوزارة وتكاليف مالية، ووضع هذا الموضوع أولوية مركزية ليصبح ذلك ملموساً ومشاهداً، فيما إثارة مثل هذا السؤال مريحة ومناسبة، ولكن كنا ننتظرها كأبهاويين ومشجعين ومحبين منذ وقت مبكر كان من الممكن فعل شيء أسهل مما يمكن فعله الآن.

• لماذا لا يبادر أبها لتنظيم احتفالية تكريم لقدامى لاعبي جميع الألعاب في نهاية كل موسم رياضي؟

•• المبادرات متعددة والأفكار على طاولة النقاشات بشكل أسبوعي، ونحن نتحدث عن 4 أشهر هي عمر مجلس الإدارة الحالي، والمهمات لا تتوقف، والأنشطة متسارعة، والتحديات حديث يومي، والأندية لم تعد مستطيلاً أخضر، إذ أصبحت منظومة متكاملة تتحدث عن الحوكمة والهياكل التنظيمية والإدارات المتنوعة واللجان المتخصصة والألعاب المختلفة والمتابعات اللحظية والأنشطة الإعلامية والمسؤولية الاجتماعية والفعاليات، وكلها تتابع من وزارة الرياضة وتُحدّث الإجراءات وخطوات العمل بشكل دوري.

• ما دور إدارة النادي في التواصل مع رجال الأعمال لأجل الدعم المادي؟

•• إدارة النادي تعمل على قدم وساق في هذا الملف، ونتطلع أن نحقق نجاحاً ملموساً يساعد النادي على الارتقاء بما هو مناط به، ويمكننا حينئذٍ العمل بتوازن في معادلة النجاح الرياضي الذهبية «فكر + إدارة رشيقة + مال = تفوق ونجاح».

Abha Club is making steady progress in the Yelo League, leading the standings with 27 points after 12 rounds, indicating a strong comeback for the team after a difficult season. This balanced technical and tactical presence has restored hope for the fans of "The Leader of the South" regarding the possibility of returning to the Roshan League as long as the performance continues on the same path. "Okaz" met with the club's president, Saad Hamid Al-Ahmari, who opened the file on the current season, discussing the reasons for the success, the administration's vision, and the ambitions for the upcoming phase in a dialogue characterized by clarity and realism. Here are the details of the conversation:

• What are the reasons for Abha Club's success and its lead in the Yelo League despite its modest performance last season?

•• Success, in the precise sense, has only come through the collective efforts and harmonious administrative and technical work. Sports work today is a collaborative and interactive effort that starts from the club's staff to the board of directors, passing through all administrative and technical teams that share the same goals, visions, and thirst for success, achieving the targets demanded of the club through the ministry's system, as well as through the club's supporters who are essentially key partners and supporters in every step we take. We cannot overlook that the Yelo League has 17 clubs that share our desire and ambition for success and carry the same aspirations and goals. We are in competitions that entail what football entails in terms of winning, losing, drawing, and the circumstances surrounding any match. We must harmonize with it, adapt, and strive. Ultimately, success is a culmination of efforts that must be accompanied by divine providence, assistance, and facilitation.

• Are there any new contracts in the winter transfer period?

•• We are always working on improvements, and we have continuous reviews of activities, reports, and performance indicators. Contracts sometimes happen quickly and are facilitated, while at other times we face difficulties regarding these contracts on both financial and technical levels. We have people reviewing all of that and moving towards any step as required by the accompanying circumstances. Football and its contracts are accompanied by success and perhaps failure; success makes us happy, and that is what we always hope for. If, God forbid, any bad luck occurs, we do not call it failure but rather a step for learning and a lesson learned. It is worth mentioning that winter contracts are not easy and are surrounded by some difficulties regarding finding suitable alternatives and being cautious in that.

• Do you bet on Abha's promotion to the Roshan League at the end of the season?

•• Betting is not a term we use at the moment; it is an early term. Even the goal of promotion is not something we are working on in the first year of the board of directors. We will proceed with it as a natural light ahead of us, but we are still in the first 10 rounds of a very long and exhausting league filled with transformations and changes that dramatically alter the standings. We will work with all our energy and ambitions, and we will be satisfied with what we achieve in the first year, and we will be able to measure the true journey of this year.

• Why were some of the club's sports activities canceled this season?

•• Cancellation is also a word used by others, but we did not use it. What was done is a temporary suspension of some activities, which is a suspension accompanied by justifications that we find valid according to a collective decision, not an individual one. This decision was reached by specialists in light of the significant expenditure on these activities compared to the lack of revenue that matches what is spent on them or the lack of clarity regarding the expected support. Perhaps what reinforced the validity of suspending these activities is that other clubs with a history in these sports have done the same as Abha Club. Therefore, these activities will be of interest and subject to re-evaluation whenever we find it appropriate to resume them based on the two pillars of "financial support and maintaining financial sustainability."

• What is the reason for your administration's continued neglect of journalists despite your criticisms of the previous administration during the elections?

•• There is absolutely no neglect; the club is open to everyone, and we are happy to receive any opinion or constructive criticism, not destructive. We did not criticize the previous administration; they worked and made commendable efforts, and we are following them. This is the wheel of sports and the natural administrative succession in it. We really need to know where the neglect lies and whether there are legitimate demands from journalists so we can proceed with them. If there are areas of shortcoming that we have not noticed, we will address them with complete transparency and be on the same page of understanding and awareness, knowing the role required from every active and effective element in both the media and sports scenes.

• Were the board members chosen based on sports expertise or personal relationships?

•• I believe the best answer I can provide here is to refer to the resumes that were previously announced for the board members before the election journey. They contain the answer in their essence. If they are viewed as diverse experiences in various fields, with sports being one of them, then that is what we expect and hope for. If they are read as personal relationships, we cannot do anything about such a reading, and it is impossible to convince someone who holds that view otherwise as long as they are not convinced by the resumes and the young faces and the work we see as good, especially considering that only 10% of the board's four-year term has passed.

• Is there an administrative direction to support and motivate the attendance of Abha fans due to the significant decline in attendance at the team's matches?

•• The specialized team is continuously working on support and motivation paths. With ongoing victories, there will undoubtedly be attendance. We do not see what has been described as a severe weakness; the fans are present, and the timing of some matches may play a role in that, especially if the match times do not fall on weekends or coincide with official working hours. The fluctuation in fan attendance is a challenge faced by clubs in the Roshan League, so what about expectations in the Yelo League? Efforts are ongoing, optimism is a necessity, and the future will be brighter, God willing. The recorded numbers for the club in the last ten rounds, both at home and away, are excellent compared to previous years and also with clubs in the Roshan League.

• When will Abha play at home against Yelo League clubs and also against Roshan League clubs upon promotion?

•• It will be played with the collaboration of the media and the ongoing discussion about this dream and support from everyone who can make it happen. The reality we face is that we have nothing to do about it since the conditions and regulations do not apply to the current stadium, which has become a concern for us. Any field-based desire for radical change is contingent upon support from the ministry and financial costs. Making this issue a central priority is essential for it to become tangible and visible. While raising such a question is comfortable and appropriate, we have been waiting for it as Abhawis, fans, and lovers for a long time, and it could have been easier to do something earlier than what can be done now.

• Why doesn't Abha take the initiative to organize a ceremony to honor veteran players of all sports at the end of each sports season?

•• There are multiple initiatives and ideas on the discussion table weekly. We are talking about four months, which is the age of the current board of directors. The tasks do not stop, activities are accelerating, and challenges are a daily conversation. Clubs are no longer just a green rectangle; they have become an integrated system that discusses governance, organizational structures, diverse administrations, specialized committees, various sports, real-time follow-ups, media activities, social responsibility, and events, all of which are monitored by the Ministry of Sports, which updates procedures and work steps periodically.

• What is the role of the club's administration in communicating with businessmen for financial support?

•• The club's administration is working diligently on this file, and we hope to achieve tangible success that helps the club rise to what is entrusted to it. Then we can work in balance within the golden equation of sports success: "Thought + Agile Management + Money = Excellence and Success."
