2025 .. أسابيع لمعارض الكُتب وأيام للفلكلور والقهوة والشاي والموسيقى - وضوح نيوز

لم تعد الكتابة عن عام يُلملم ما تبقى من أيام شهره الأخير، كتابةً توثيقيةً فقط، رغم أهميتها للأرشفة، بل فرصة للتأمل في مشتركات إنسانية، قاربت بين الشعوب، وكسرت نمطية الثقافة، فغدت أيام عام 2025 عامرة بفعاليات تلتصق بحياة الفرد بدءاً من لباسه وليس انتهاءً بالفلكلور الشعبي، مروراً بأيام احتفالية بالمشروبات الأوفر حظاً والأكثر شيوعاً (القهوة والشاي)، وشهد العام الميلادي الحالي أحداثاً ثقافية ومناسبات في بلدان عدة، موزعة على شهور العام وفصوله، و هنا استعراض لأبرز الفعاليات الثقافية في عام 2025م.

يناير.. تخليد ذكرى «برايل»وكاتب نشيد الوداع «بيرنز»

يخلّد شهر يناير ذكرى مُخترع نظام النقاط اللمسيّة، (لويس برايل)، وتم تحديد يوم الرابع من يناير، يوماً للاحتفال بلُغة برايل، فيما لا يزال معرض كتاب القاهرة الأكثر شهرة وحضوراً في هذا الشهر، وتم تثبيت موعده في الأسبوع الأخير من شهر يناير إلى نهاية الأسبوع الأول من فبراير، وتحتفل في الخامس والعشرين من يناير أسكتلندا بعيد ميلاد الشاعر الوطني (روبرت بيرنز) وليلة (بيرنز) واحدة من أشهر احتفالات أسكتلندا، تكريماً لحياة الشاعر ومنجزه الشعري والغنائي الذي خصصه للكتابة عن الحياة والحب والطبيعة. وعلى الرغم من أنه لم يعش أكثر من 37 عاماً، إلا أنه أنتج ما يعزز الفخر الوطني للشعب الأسكتلندي. ومن أشهر قصائده: «وردة حمراء، حمراء» و«تام أو شانتر». وكتب «نشيد الوداع»، ويتم غناؤها في جميع أنحاء العالم في ليلة رأس السنة الجديدة.

وفي الثامن والعشرين من يناير، يحتفل العالم بيوم التعايش السّلمي.

فبراير.. أخوّة إنسانية وأغذية وإذاعة وعدالة اجتماعية

شهد شهر فبراير الماضي احتفالات أممية، منها يوم الأخوّة الإنسانية؛ ويوم الفاو (أغذية) ويوم الإذاعة، ويوم العدالة الاجتماعية، فيما كان معرض كتاب جازان الذي نظّمته هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة ضمن فعاليات موسم شتاء جازان، الأبرز ثقافياً في المملكة، وتميّزت نسخته الأولى من 11 إلى 17 فبراير 2025، بالتفاعل الإيجابي.

مارس.. انعدام التمييز ويوم المرأة العالمي والسعادة

في مطلع شهر مارس احتفل العالم، بيوم الانعدام التام للتمييز بين البشر، فيما كان يوم الثامن من مارس، مناسبةً عالمية للاحتفال بيوم المرأة العالمي، وفي 20 مارس اليوم العالمي للسعادة، وفيه يُقام حفل تسليم جوائز الملك فيصل العالمية، ويتم تكريم الفائزين في خمسة فروع (خدمة الإسلام، الدراسات الإسلامية، اللغة العربية والأدب، الطب، والعلوم)، وقررت لجنة الاختيار لجائزة الملك فيصل للغة العربية والأدب حجب الجائزة للعام 2025م وموضوعها (الدراسات التي تناولت الهوية في الأدب العربي)؛ لعدم تحقيق الأعمال المرشحة معايير الجائزة. كما سبق حجب جائزة الفرع نفسه في العام 2024م وموضوعها (جهود المؤسسات خارج الوطن العربي في نشر اللغة العربية)؛ نظراً لعدم وفاء الأعمال العلمية المرشحة بمتطلبات الجائزة.

أبريل.. شهر الضمير الحيّ واليوم العالمي للكتاب وحقوق المؤلف

أكدت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، على ضرورة تهيئة ظروف الاستقرار والرفاه، وإقامة علاقات سلمية وودية على أساس احترام حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية للناس جميعاً دون تمييز بسبب العرق أو الجنس أو اللغة أو الدين، وأعلنت يوم 5 أبريل يوماً دولياً للضمير الحيّ، للحد من أذيّة البشر بالعنف والحروب، ما يترتب عليه إماتة ضمائرهم، وفيه اليوم العالمي للكتاب وحقوق المؤلف، وفيه إعلان الفائزين بجائزة الشيخ زايد، وفازت بجائزة فرع الآداب، الروائية هدى بركات، عن روايتها «هند أو أجمل امرأة في العالم»، وفازت الكاتبة لطيفة لبصير من المغرب بجائزة فرع أدب الطفل والناشئة عن كتابها «طيف سَبيبة»، وفاز بجائزة فرع الترجمة المترجم (ماركو دي برانكو) من إيطاليا عن كتاب «هروشيوش» لبولس هروشيوش، وفاز بجائزة فرع الفنون والدراسات النقدية، الباحث الدكتور سعيد العوادي من المغرب عن كتابه «الطعام والكلام: حفريات بلاغية ثقافية في التراث العربي»، وفاز الباحث رشيد الخيون من العراق، بجائزة فرع تحقيق المخطوطات عن تحقيقه كتاب «أخبار النساء»، الصادر عن مركز الملك فيصل للبحوث والدراسات الإسلامية عام 2024، وشهدت الدورة التاسعة عشرة تتويج الأديب الياباني العالمي هاروكي موراكامي بجائزة شخصية العام الثقافية، ويتزامن حفل الجائزة مع معرض أبوظبي للكتاب، وفي 18 أبريل يحتفل العالم بيوم التراث الإنساني، ويُركز على حماية المواقع الأثرية والتراثية المُسجلة لدى اليونسكو.

مايو.. حريّة الصحافة ويوم المتاحف والشاي

في الثالث من مايو، يستعيد العالم دور الصحافة، بما يعزز ويصقل محتوى (بلاط صاحبة الجلالة) بالمزيد من الحريات، ورفع سقف التعبير، وفيه معرض الدوحة للكتاب في الفترة من 8 إلى 17 مايو، فيما يحتفل العالم في 18 مايو باليوم العالمي للمتاحف، لتبادل الخبرات الثقافية بين الدول، وإحياء الفنون الشعبية والتقاليد، وتحتفل اليونسكو في 21 مايو باليوم العالمي للتنوع الثقافي، لتعزيز الحوار والتنمية، وتسليط الضوء على غنى وتعدد ثقافات العالم والتأكيد على أهمية الحوار الثقافي لتحقيق السلام ودعم التنمية المستدامة. وفي 21 مايو يُحتفل باليوم العالمي للشاي، الذي أقرته الأمم المتحدة لتسليط الضوء على القيمة التاريخية والثقافية والاقتصادية للشاي.

يونيو.. البيئة والطبخ

وحوار الحضارات والموسيقى

شهد شهر يونيو فعاليات عدة؛ منها الاحتفال بيوم البيئة، واليوم الدولي للحوار بين الحضارات، ويوم الطبخ المُستدام، ومهرجان الموسيقى، الذي يقام في جميع أنحاء العالم في 21 يونيو، باعتباره غالباً، اليوم الأول من فصل الصيف في النص الشمالي، من الكرة الأرضية، وتحتفل به غالبية الدول، إضافة إلى المهرجانات المحلية الموسيقية التي تلتحق بركب الاحتفال العالمي وإن على نطاق تقليدي.

يوليو.. الاحتفال بأول رحلة إلى القمر والأمل والصداقة

أقيمت في شهر يوليو فعاليات أممية مشتركة، منها الاحتفال بيوم الأمل في 12 يوليو، ويوم القمر، للتذكير بهبوط أبولو 11، على سطح القمر في 20 يوليو 1969، وأصبح رائدا الفضاء (نيل أرمسترونغ) و(باز ألدرين) أول من مشى على السطح القمري، وقال أرمسترونغ عبارته «إنها خطوة صغيرة لرجل، لكنها قفزة عملاقة للبشرية»، وفي 30 يوليو يحتفل العالم باليوم العالمي للصداقة.

أغسطس.. يوم العمل الإنساني والفلكلور العالمي

في التاسع عشر من أغسطس، يحتفل العالم بالعمل الإنساني، ويحضر مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، بمنجزاته التي حققت إنجازات، وأوصلت المساعدات إلى أكثر من 92 دولة في آسيا وأفريقيا وأوروبا والأمريكيتين، وتركز جهودها حالياً على اليمن وسورية، وفي يوم 22 أغسطس، احتفل العالم باليوم العالمي للفلكلور، وبالقصص والأشكال الفنية والثقافية الشعبية التي تُشكل التراث الإنساني.

سبتمبر.. جوائز وزارة الثقافة

احتفلت وزارة الثقافة بتسليم جوائز العام الوطنية، واستَحدثت جائزتين جديدتين هما: جائزة الحِرف اليدوية، وجائزة الإعلام الثقافي، تتزامن الأولى مع «عام الحِرف اليدوية 2025» وتُعنى بتقدير المُساهمات المبذولة في خدمة الصناعات الحِرفية ودعمها إنتاجاً ومعرفةً، والجائزة الثانية تقديراً للجهود التي بذلها الأفراد والمؤسسات في تنمية الإعلام الثقافي وتعزيز دوره المحوري في تطور القطاع الثقافي، وذلك من خلال نشر المقالات والقراءات والمراجعات النقدية، والمتابعة الدؤوبة للحراك الثقافي والتفاعل معه عبر الوسائل الإعلامية المقروءة والمسموعة والمرئية، أو عبر الوسائط التقنية الحديثة.

أكتوبر.. نوبل الآداب وكتاب الرياض وفرانكفورت ويوم القهوة العالمي

في مطلع شهر أكتوبر يحتفل عشاق الفاتنة السوداء (القهوة) بيومها العالمي، وفي السادس منه أعلنت الأكاديمية السويدية منح جائزة نوبل للآداب لعام 2025 للكاتب المجري (لاسلو كراسنا هور كاي) المُلقّب بـ«نبي الخراب» و«سارد الأبدية الثقيلة»، وعدّه نقاد من أكثر الأصوات الأدبية فرادة وعمقاً في المشهد الأوروبي المعاصر، فيما يقام معرض كتاب فرانكفورت في 15 منه، ويعد أكبر تظاهرة دولية ثقافية تعنى بالكتاب والأدب بصفة عامة، ويبلغ عمره أكثر من خمسة قرون، ويلتقي فيه مئات من المثقفين والكتاب والباحثين والناشرين من كل البلدان، وعشرات الألوف من عناوين الكتب من كل الثقافات، ويحضر في نفس الشهر معرض الرياض الدولي للكتاب وهو المعرض الأكثر مبيعاً بحسب الناشرين العرب.

نوفمبر.. التسامح والفلسفة وجهان لمعرفة منفتحة

احتفل العالم في يوم 12 نوفمبر باليوم العالمي للفلسفة، فيما خصص يوم السادس عشر منه للاحتفال بيوم التسامح، والفلسفة والتسامح وجهان للمعرفة المنفتحة، والمشترك الإنساني. وفيه يقام معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب، ويعد من أقوى معارض الكتب في العالم بما يوفّر من مساحة للإصدارات العربية والعالمية.

ديسمبر.. حقوق إنسان ويوم الجبال واللغة العربية والتأمل

تعددت في شهر ديسمبر الفعاليات، منها اليوم العالمي لحقوق الإنسان في العاشر منه، ويوم الجبال في الحادي عشر، ويوم اللغة العربية في الثامن عشر، ويوم 21 للتأمل، فيما حضر فيه معرض جدة للكتاب.

الدكتور السريحي.. أمل كبير في الشفاء والعودة للعطاء

لا تزال قلوب محبي وأصدقاء الناقد الدكتور سعيد السريحي، تتعلق في شفاء الدكتور سعيد بكبير الأمل في الله، ليعود للعطاء مجدداً، وتعرّض أبو إقبال في أكتوبر الماضي لعارض صحي، غيّبه عن المشهد الثقافي، وإن كان حاضراً بأثره الأدبي الذي يمتد على مدى نصف قرن من الزمن.

راحلون.. نخب اعتبارية وثقافية في ذمة الله

رحل عنّا هذا العام عدد من الشخصيات الاعتبارية والثقافية منهم، سماحة مفتي عام المملكة عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله آل الشيخ، والوزيران مطلب بن عبدالله النفيسة، ومحمد بن علي الفايز، والشاعر السعودي المخضرم سعد البواردي، والناقد حلمي القاعود، والشاعر العراقي موفّق محمد، والشاعر اليمني ياسين البكالي، والروائي المصري صنع الله إبراهيم، والوزير الجزائري أحمد طالب الإبراهيمي، والدكتور أحمد عمر هاشم، والدكتور عبدالله عمر نصيف، والدكتور زغلول النجار، والشاعر يحيى توفيق حسن، والروائي أحمد أبو دهمان، والكاتب محمد عبدالله الحمدان.

Writing about a year that gathers the remaining days of its last month is no longer just a documentary task, despite its importance for archiving; it has become an opportunity for reflection on shared human experiences that have brought peoples closer together and broken cultural stereotypes. Thus, the days of 2025 are filled with activities that touch individual lives, starting from clothing and extending to popular folklore, passing through festive days celebrated with the more fortunate and common beverages (coffee and tea). The current Gregorian year has witnessed cultural events and occasions in several countries, distributed across the months and seasons of the year. Here is a review of the most prominent cultural activities in 2025.

January.. Commemorating "Braille" and the National Poet "Burns"

The month of January commemorates the inventor of the tactile dot system, (Louis Braille), with January 4 designated as a day to celebrate Braille language. Meanwhile, the Cairo International Book Fair remains the most famous and attended event in this month, scheduled from the last week of January to the end of the first week of February. On January 25, Scotland celebrates the birthday of the national poet (Robert Burns), and Burns Night is one of Scotland's most famous celebrations, honoring the poet's life and his poetic and musical contributions dedicated to writing about life, love, and nature. Although he lived only 37 years, he produced works that enhance the national pride of the Scottish people. Among his most famous poems are "My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose" and "Tam o' Shanter." He wrote "Auld Lang Syne," which is sung around the world on New Year's Eve.

On January 28, the world celebrates the International Day of Peaceful Coexistence.

February.. Human Brotherhood, Food, Broadcasting, and Social Justice

Last February witnessed international celebrations, including the Day of Human Brotherhood, the FAO Day (Food), the World Radio Day, and the World Day of Social Justice. The Jazan Book Fair, organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission as part of the Jazan Winter Season activities, stood out culturally in the Kingdom. Its first edition, held from February 11 to 17, 2025, was marked by positive interaction.

March.. Elimination of Discrimination, International Women's Day, and Happiness

At the beginning of March, the world celebrated the complete elimination of discrimination among humans, while March 8 marked the global occasion of International Women's Day. On March 20, the International Day of Happiness is celebrated, during which the King Faisal International Prize is awarded, honoring winners in five categories (Service to Islam, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, Medicine, and Sciences). The selection committee for the King Faisal Prize for Arabic Language and Literature decided to withhold the award for 2025, with the topic being (studies addressing identity in Arabic literature), due to the nominated works not meeting the award criteria. The same category's award was withheld in 2024 for the topic (efforts of institutions outside the Arab world in promoting the Arabic language) for similar reasons.

April.. Month of the Living Conscience, World Book Day, and Copyright

The United Nations General Assembly emphasized the necessity of creating conditions for stability and welfare, establishing peaceful and friendly relations based on respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all people without discrimination based on race, gender, language, or religion. April 5 was declared an International Day of the Living Conscience, aimed at reducing harm to humanity through violence and wars, which result in the death of their consciences. This month also includes World Book Day and Copyright Day, during which the winners of the Sheikh Zayed Prize are announced. The literature branch prize was awarded to novelist Huda Barakat for her novel "Hind or the Most Beautiful Woman in the World," while Moroccan writer Latifa Labssir won the Children's and Young Adults Literature branch prize for her book "The Ghost of Sabiba." The Translation branch prize went to translator Marco Di Branko from Italy for the book "Hroshiosh" by Paul Hroshiosh. The Arts and Critical Studies branch prize was awarded to researcher Dr. Said Al-Awadi from Morocco for his book "Food and Speech: Cultural Rhetorical Excavations in Arab Heritage." Researcher Rashid Al-Khayoun from Iraq won the Manuscript Verification branch prize for his work on the book "News of Women," published by the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies in 2024. The nineteenth session crowned the world-renowned Japanese writer Haruki Murakami with the Cultural Personality of the Year award, coinciding with the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. On April 18, the world celebrates International Heritage Day, focusing on the protection of archaeological and heritage sites registered with UNESCO.

May.. Press Freedom, International Museums Day, and Tea

On May 3, the world reaffirms the role of journalism, enhancing and refining the content of (the press) with more freedoms and raising the ceiling of expression. The Doha International Book Fair takes place from May 8 to 17, while the world celebrates International Museums Day on May 18, promoting the exchange of cultural experiences between countries and reviving folk arts and traditions. UNESCO celebrates International Day for Cultural Diversity on May 21, aiming to promote dialogue and development, highlighting the richness and diversity of world cultures, and emphasizing the importance of cultural dialogue for achieving peace and supporting sustainable development. On May 21, the world celebrates International Tea Day, established by the United Nations to highlight the historical, cultural, and economic value of tea.

June.. Environment, Cooking

and Dialogue of Civilizations and Music

June witnessed several events, including the celebration of Environment Day, the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations, Sustainable Cooking Day, and the Music Festival, which is held worldwide on June 21, often regarded as the first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Most countries celebrate it, along with local music festivals that join the global celebration, even if on a traditional scale.

July.. Celebrating the First Moon Landing, Hope, and Friendship

In July, several joint international events took place, including the celebration of Hope Day on July 12 and Moon Day, commemorating the Apollo 11 landing on the moon on July 20, 1969. Astronauts (Neil Armstrong) and (Buzz Aldrin) became the first to walk on the lunar surface, with Armstrong famously stating, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." On July 30, the world celebrates International Friendship Day.

August.. Humanitarian Work Day and World Folklore

On August 19, the world celebrates Humanitarian Work Day, with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center showcasing its achievements, delivering aid to over 92 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas, currently focusing its efforts on Yemen and Syria. On August 22, the world celebrates International Folklore Day, honoring the stories and artistic and cultural forms that constitute human heritage.

September.. Ministry of Culture Awards

The Ministry of Culture celebrated the delivery of the national awards for the year, introducing two new awards: the Handicrafts Award and the Cultural Media Award. The first coincides with the "Year of Handicrafts 2025" and aims to recognize contributions made in the service and support of handicraft industries in production and knowledge. The second award acknowledges the efforts of individuals and institutions in developing cultural media and enhancing its pivotal role in the evolution of the cultural sector through the publication of articles, readings, and critical reviews, as well as diligent follow-up of cultural movements and interaction through print, audio, and visual media or through modern technological means.

October.. Nobel Prize in Literature, Riyadh Book Fair, Frankfurt, and International Coffee Day

At the beginning of October, coffee lovers celebrate International Coffee Day. On the 6th, the Swedish Academy announced the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2025 awarded to Hungarian writer (László Krasznahorkai), nicknamed "The Prophet of Destruction" and "The Chronicler of Heavy Eternity," regarded by critics as one of the most unique and profound literary voices in contemporary European literature. The Frankfurt Book Fair takes place on the 15th, the largest international cultural event dedicated to books and literature in general, with a history of over five centuries, where hundreds of intellectuals, writers, researchers, and publishers from all countries meet, showcasing tens of thousands of book titles from all cultures. The Riyadh International Book Fair, the best-selling fair according to Arab publishers, is also held in the same month.

November.. Tolerance and Philosophy as Two Faces of Open Knowledge

On November 12, the world celebrated International Philosophy Day, while November 16 was dedicated to celebrating Tolerance Day. Philosophy and tolerance are two aspects of open knowledge and shared humanity. The Sharjah International Book Fair is held during this month, recognized as one of the strongest book fairs in the world, providing space for both Arab and international publications.

December.. Human Rights, Mountain Day, Arabic Language, and Reflection

December featured numerous events, including International Human Rights Day on the 10th, Mountain Day on the 11th, Arabic Language Day on the 18th, and a day for reflection on the 21st, during which the Jeddah Book Fair took place.

Dr. Al-Suhaili.. A Great Hope for Recovery and Return to Contribution

The hearts of the admirers and friends of critic Dr. Said Al-Suhaili remain hopeful for his recovery, trusting in God, so he may return to contribute once again. Abu Iqbal suffered a health issue last October that kept him away from the cultural scene, although his literary impact continues to resonate over half a century.

Departed.. Esteemed Cultural Figures in the Care of God

This year, we lost several notable cultural figures, including the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, ministers Matlab bin Abdullah Al Nafeesa and Mohammed bin Ali Al-Faiz, veteran Saudi poet Saad Al-Bawardi, critic Helmi Al-Qaaoud, Iraqi poet Mufaq Mohammed, Yemeni poet Yasin Al-Bakali, Egyptian novelist Sanaa Ibrahim, Algerian minister Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi, Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem, Dr. Abdullah Omar Naseef, Dr. Zaghloul Al-Najjar, poet Yahya Tawfiq Hassan, novelist Ahmed Abu Dahman, and writer Mohammed Abdullah Al-Hamdan.
