الرئيس الأوكراني: الروس يرفضون إنهاء الحرب - وضوح نيوز

قبيل توجهه إلى الولايات المتحدة لإجراء محادثات مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب حول خطة لوقف الحرب، اعتبر الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، أن الهجوم الروسي الأخير على كييف يُظهر أن موسكو «لا تريد إنهاء الحرب».

روسيا تهاجم بـ500 طائرة مسيرة

وقال زيلينسكي بعد غارات روسية بالمسيّرات والصواريخ أسفرت عن مقتل شخص: إن الروس لايريدون إنهاء الحرب، ويسعون إلى استغلال كل فرصة للإمعان في معاناة أوكرانيا وزيادة ضغوطهم على الآخرين حول العالم.

وأضاف، أن روسيا هاجمت أوكرانيا بما ⁠يقرب من 500 طائرة مسيرة و40 صاروخاً خلال الليل، مستهدفة البنية التحتية للطاقة والبنية التحتية المدنية.

وكتب زيلينسكي على منصة «إكس»: «إذا حولت روسيا حتى فترة الكريسماس ورأس السنة الجديدة ⁠إلى فترة من المنازل المدمرة والشقق ⁠المحترقة ومحطات الطاقة المدمرة، فلا يمكن الرد على هذا النشاط المريض إلا بخطوات قوية حقاً»، داعياً الولايات المتحدة وأوروبا إلى الضغط على موسكو بشكل أقوى.

اجتماع في فلوريدا

ومن المقرر أن يجتمع الرئيس الأوكراني بنظيره الأمريكي، غداً الأحد، في فلوريدا لمناقشة خطة إنهاء الحرب في إطار مفاوضات لم تُسفر بعد عن أي نتائج ملموسة.

وبعد نحو 4 سنوات على بدء روسيا هجومها الواسع على أوكرانيا، لا تزال الأخيرة تتعرض لقصف يومي.

وتسببت الهجمات الليلية في العاصمة في اندلاع حريق في مبنى سكني، كما أدت إلى مقتل شخص وإصابة 19 آخرين، نُقل 11 منهم إلى المستشفى، بحسب رئيس البلدية فيتالي كليتشكو.

وأوضح كليتشكو «أنّ 2600 مبنى سكني، و187 حضانة أطفال، و138 مدرسة، و22 مرفقاً للخدمات الاجتماعية» انقطعت عنها التدفئة.

ضربة واسعة النطاق

من جانبها، أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الروسية أن قواتها شنت ضربة واسعة النطاق بأسلحة برية وجوية وبحرية عالية الدقة بعيدة المدى، بما في ذلك صواريخ «كينجال»، على البنية التحتية للطاقة التي تغذي القوات الأوكرانية، وذلك «رداً على الهجمات الإرهابية الأوكرانية».

وأفادت بأن مجموعة قوات «المركز» استهدفت لواء «آزوف» (المحظور في روسيا، والمعترف به كمنظمة إرهابية) التابع للقوات الأوكرانية.

وحسب بيان الوزارة، اليوم (السبت)، فقد استهدفت وحدات من مجموعة قوات المركز القوات والمعدات العسكرية الأوكرانية التابعة للواء آلي ولواء مشاة ولواءي إنزال هجوميين ولواء محمول جواً و3 أفواج هجومية ولواء من مشاة البحرية ولواء من القوات الخاصة «آزوف» في بلدات جمهورية دونيتسك الشعبية ومقاطعة دنيبروبتروفسك.

Before heading to the United States for talks with President Donald Trump about a plan to end the war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky considered that the recent Russian attack on Kyiv shows that Moscow "does not want to end the war."

Russia attacks with 500 drones

Zelensky stated after Russian airstrikes with drones and missiles resulted in one death: the Russians do not want to end the war and are seeking to exploit every opportunity to deepen Ukraine's suffering and increase their pressure on others around the world.

He added that Russia attacked Ukraine with nearly 500 drones and 40 missiles during the night, targeting energy infrastructure and civilian infrastructure.

Zelensky wrote on the platform "X": "If Russia turns even the Christmas and New Year period into a time of destroyed homes, burned apartments, and destroyed power stations, the only response to this sick activity can be truly strong measures," calling on the United States and Europe to pressure Moscow more strongly.

Meeting in Florida

The Ukrainian president is scheduled to meet with his American counterpart tomorrow, Sunday, in Florida to discuss a plan to end the war within negotiations that have yet to yield any tangible results.

Nearly four years after Russia launched its extensive attack on Ukraine, the latter continues to face daily bombardments.

The nighttime attacks in the capital caused a fire in a residential building and resulted in one death and 19 injuries, 11 of whom were hospitalized, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Klitschko clarified that "2,600 residential buildings, 187 kindergartens, 138 schools, and 22 social service facilities" lost heating.

Widespread strike

For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces launched a widespread strike using high-precision land, air, and naval weapons, including "Kinzhal" missiles, on the energy infrastructure supplying Ukrainian forces, in "response to Ukrainian terrorist attacks."

It reported that the "Center" group of forces targeted the "Azov" brigade (banned in Russia and recognized as a terrorist organization) belonging to the Ukrainian forces.

According to the ministry's statement today (Saturday), units from the Center group targeted Ukrainian military forces and equipment belonging to a mechanized brigade, an infantry brigade, two assault landing brigades, an airborne brigade, three assault battalions, a marine brigade, and a special forces brigade "Azov" in towns within the Donetsk People's Republic and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
