خليجي 23.. مدرب الأخضر بياجو: البطولة خير إعداد لكأس آسيا - وضوح نيوز

عُقدت أمس (الأربعاء) المؤتمرات الصحفية قبل انطلاق مباريات كأس الخليج تحت 23 سنة التي تستضيفها الدوحة في الفترة من الرابع وحتى السادس عشر من ديسمبر الجاري.

حيث كانت البداية مع مدربي منتخبات المجموعة الأولى التي تجمع كلاً من قطر والسعودية والبحرين والكويت، ثم المؤتمر الصحفي لمدربي منتخبات المجموعة الثانية التي تضم العراق والإمارات وعمان واليمن.

وأشاد الإيطالي لويجي دي بياجو مدرب منتخبنا الوطني السعودي بإقامة البطولة لهذه الفئة السنية المهمة، وأضاف أن كل المنتخبات في المجموعة تريد الفوز ونحن نطمح أن نقدم أداءً جيداً لأن شعار المنتخبات الوطنية يعطي حماساً للاعبين، مشيداً بالتنظيم المميز في ظل وجود ملاعب رائعة.

مضيفاً: «هدفنا التطوير وهناك بعض اللاعبين لعبوا في كأس العالم للناشئين والمنافسة صعبة كونها تجمع بين منتخبات قوية، وأن الهدف هو تكوين رافد مهم للمنتخب الأول، لاسيما وأننا قدمنا أكثر من 7 لاعبين في سنة واحدة بالتنسيق مع المدير الفني للمنتخب الأول إيرفي رينارد، وكما قلت، البطولة مهمة ضمن الاستعدادات لاستضافة كأس آسيا».

كما تحدث البرتغالي إليديو ڤالي مدرب منتخب قطر الأولمبي قائلاً: «البطولة تعني لنا الكثير وسنحاول الفوز في كل المباريات، لاسيما أن قطر مستضيفة البطولة، وفريقنا متطور ولاعبونا مستعدون للمنافسات ويدخلون المباريات بهدف الفوز».

مضيفاً: «المنتخبات الأخرى قوية ونحن نعرفها جيداً كوننا جمعتنا مع بعضهم مباريات في المنافسات السابقة، وهي مهمة صعبة ونخوض البطولة بكل قوة، لاسيما وهي محطة إعدادية مهمة قبل خوض منافسات نهائيات كأس آسيا في السعودية العام القادم».

Yesterday (Wednesday), press conferences were held ahead of the Gulf Cup matches for under 23 years, which will take place in Doha from December 4th to 16th.

The first conference featured the coaches of the teams in Group A, which includes Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait, followed by the press conference for the coaches of the teams in Group B, which includes Iraq, the UAE, Oman, and Yemen.

Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio of our national team praised the organization of the tournament for this important age group, adding that all teams in the group want to win and that we aspire to deliver a good performance because the national teams' emblem motivates the players, commending the excellent organization in light of the wonderful stadiums.

He added: “Our goal is development, and there are some players who have played in the Youth World Cup. The competition is tough as it brings together strong teams, and the aim is to create an important pipeline for the first team, especially since we have introduced more than 7 players in one year in coordination with the head coach of the first team, Hervé Renard. As I said, the tournament is important in preparation for hosting the Asian Cup.”

Portuguese coach Elidio Vali of the Qatari Olympic team also spoke, saying: “The tournament means a lot to us, and we will try to win in every match, especially since Qatar is hosting the tournament. Our team is developing, and our players are ready for the competitions and enter the matches with the aim of winning.”

He added: “The other teams are strong, and we know them well since we have faced some of them in previous competitions. It is a tough challenge, and we are approaching the tournament with full strength, especially as it is an important preparatory stage before competing in the Asian Cup finals in Saudi Arabia next year.”
