واصل لاعب منتخبنا الوطني سالم الدوسري تحطيم الأرقام القياسية في كأس العرب بعدما أصبح أول لاعب سعودي يساهم بخمسة أهداف في نسخة واحدة من البطولة منذ نسخة 1998 المسجل باسم لاعب المنتخب سابقاً عبيد الدوسري.

يذكر أن الدوسري قدم أداءً كبيراً مع الأخضر في بطولة كأس العرب حتى الآن والمقامة حالياً بالدوحة، وأكمل أداءه الرائع الذي قدمه في الجولة الأولى أمام عمان في مباراة جزر القمر التي جمعت المنتخبين، ضمن مباريات الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات لمسابقة كأس العرب.

وشهدت مباراة الأخضر أمام جزر القمر صناعة سالم الدوسري لهدفين وتسجيل الهدف الثالث، حيث نجح اللاعب في صناعة الهدف الأول والثاني اللذين سجلهما لاعب المنتخب محمد كنو، من جانب آخر تصدر سالم الدوسري قائمة أكثر اللاعبين صناعة للأهداف في كأس العرب 2025، برصيد 4 تمريرات حاسمة، وأصبح الأكثر في الإسهام التهديفي بمجموع 5 أهداف، ليؤكد قوته في خط الهجوم، وعلى الصعيد التاريخي، يملك (التورنيدو) سجلاً تاريخياً مميزاً مع الأخضر، حيث وصل للمباراة الرسمية رقم 102، وشارك في 38 هدفاً، منها 26 هدفاً و12 تمريرة مؤثرة وحاسمة، كما أن الدوسري أصبح أول لاعب في تاريخ المنتخب السعودي يسجل هدفاً واحداً على الأقل في 5 بطولات كبرى وتصفيات كأس العالم، وسجل اسمه في سجلات «الأخضر» بتسجيل الأهداف في كأس العالم، وكأس أمم آسيا، وكأس العرب، وكأس الخليج، وأولمبياد طوكيو، إلى جانب تصفيات المونديال.
