في خطوة مفاجِئة تشعل الجدل داخل تايوان وخارجها، قررت السلطات فرض حظر شامل لمدة عام على تطبيق «شياو هونغ شو» الشهير، المعروف بـ«ريد نوت»، وهو واحد من أكثر منصات مشاركة الصور والمحتوى رواجاً بين شباب الجزيرة. القرار، الذي برّرته الحكومة بمخاوف أمنية وارتفاع جرائم الاحتيال، فتح الباب واسعاً أمام سجالات سياسية وإعلامية، وسط اتهامات متبادلة بين تايبيه وبكين حول الدوافع الحقيقية وراء هذا التصعيد الرقمي غير المسبوق.
وبحسب صحيفة «غلوبال تايمز» الصينية، فإن الحزب الديمقراطي التقدمي التايواني برر القرار بمخاوف «الأمن المعلوماتي» و«ارتفاع جرائم الاحتيال».
وقالت وزارة الشؤون الداخلية التايوانية، إن التطبيق أصبح «منصة مرتفعة المخاطر»، مشيرة إلى تسجيل ما يزيد على 1700 حالة احتيال مرتبطة به خلال العام، إلا أن الصحيفة الصينية اتهمت حكومة تايبيه بازدواجية المعايير، خصوصاً أن هناك تطبيقات أكبر من حيث عدد المستخدمين وبنسب احتيال أعلى لم تُواجه بأي عقوبات مماثلة، ما يعمّق الشكوك حول وجود دوافع تتجاوز المخاوف الأمنية المعلنة.
وترى صحيفة «تشاينا ديلي» أن الحزب الديمقراطي التقدمي يسعى إلى تقليص المجال الرقمي الذي يسمح بتواصل واسع وغير مراقب بين شباب تايوان والبر الرئيسي الصيني، خصوصاً بعد أن أصبح التطبيق نافذة رئيسية للتعرف على الثقافة الصينية الحديثة.

The decision, justified by the government due to security concerns and a rise in fraud crimes, has opened the door wide for political and media debates, amid mutual accusations between Taipei and Beijing regarding the true motives behind this unprecedented digital escalation.
According to the Chinese newspaper "Global Times," the Democratic Progressive Party of Taiwan justified the decision with concerns over "information security" and "the rise in fraud crimes."
The Taiwanese Ministry of the Interior stated that the app has become a "high-risk platform," noting that over 1,700 fraud cases related to it have been recorded over the year. However, the Chinese newspaper accused the Taipei government of double standards, especially since there are larger apps in terms of user numbers and higher fraud rates that have not faced similar penalties, deepening suspicions that there are motives beyond the declared security concerns.
The "China Daily" newspaper believes that the Democratic Progressive Party seeks to reduce the digital space that allows for broad and unmonitored communication between the youth of Taiwan and mainland China, especially after the app has become a key window for understanding modern Chinese culture.
