رجحت صحيفة «التايمز» البريطانية، أمس الأول، أن يقوم فريق نادي مانشستر يونايتد الإنجليزي برحلة للسعودية لأداء مباراة ودية دولية في الرياض.
وذكرت، أن جدول مباريات «الشياطين الحمر»، يتضمن مباراة ضد فريق ايفرتون تم تغيير موعدها إلى 23 فبراير القادم.
ولاحظت «التايمز»، أن فراغاً مماثلاً تم إحداثه في جدول مباريات نادي ايه سي ميلانو الإيطالي خلال الفترة نفسها، ما يرجح أن «الشياطين الحمر» سيلعبون ودياً ضد ايه سي ميلانو في الرياض.
ومن ناحية ثانية؛ ذكرت هيئة الإذاعة البريطانية (بي بي سي)، أمس، أن أندية الدوري السعودي الممتاز تعمل حالياً على شراء لاعب نيوكاسل يونايتد البرازيلي جويلنتون (29 عاماً).
وأضافت، أن نيوكاسل يونايتد قد لا يعارض انتقال جويلنتون إذا كانت صفقة انتقاله ستكون مربحة للنادي المملوكة غالبية أسهمه لصندوق استثمار الثروة السيادية السعودية.
وذكرت «بي بي سي»، أن هداف نادي برشلونة روبرت ليواندوفسكي (37 عاماً) يتعرض لإغراءات شديدة للانتقال للدوري السعودي الممتاز. وفي السياق ذاته، ذكر موقع Goal الرياضي، أن ممثلي ليواندوفسكي يستعدون لجولة محادثات مع مسؤولي الدوري السعودي الممتاز.
The British newspaper "The Times" suggested the day before yesterday that the Manchester United team is likely to travel to Saudi Arabia to play an international friendly match in Riyadh.
It mentioned that the schedule for the "Red Devils" includes a match against Everton, which has been rescheduled to February 23rd.
"The Times" noted that a similar gap has been created in the schedule of the Italian club AC Milan during the same period, which suggests that the "Red Devils" will play a friendly against AC Milan in Riyadh.
On another note, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported yesterday that clubs in the Saudi Pro League are currently working on acquiring Newcastle United's Brazilian player Joelinton (29 years old).
It added that Newcastle United may not oppose Joelinton's transfer if the deal is profitable for the club, which is majority-owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund.
The BBC reported that Barcelona's top scorer Robert Lewandowski (37 years old) is facing strong temptations to move to the Saudi Pro League. In the same context, the sports website Goal mentioned that Lewandowski's representatives are preparing for a round of talks with officials from the Saudi Pro League.
