وافق النجم البرازيلي نيمار دا سيلفا على تجديد عقده مع نادي سانتوس، لمدة عام واحد، بعدما أنقذ الفريق من كابوس الهبوط.
وبحسب الصحفي الإيطالي المتخصص في أخبار الانتقالات فابريزيو رومانو، فإن نيمار وافق على تجديد عقده مع سانتوس حتى ديسمبر 2026.
وكان نيمار قد تحامل على نفسه خلال الفترة الماضية، رغم معاناته من الإصابة، ونجح في تسجيل 5 أهداف خلال آخر 4 مباريات، مساهماً بشكل مباشر في بقاء سانتوس ضمن منافسات الدوري البرازيلي.
وعاد نيمار إلى سانتوس في يناير الماضي بعقدٍ لمدة 6 أشهر، عقب فسخ عقده مع الهلال السعودي بالتراضي، قبل أن يمدد ارتباطه مع النادي حتى نهاية 2025.
جراحة ناجحة وفترة تعافٍ
وخضع النجم البرازيلي لعملية جراحية ناجحة بالمنظار، 22 ديسمبر الماضي، لعلاج إصابة في الغضروف، أجراها طبيب المنتخب البرازيلي رودريغو لاسمار.
ووفقاً لتقارير صحفية، يحتاج نيمار إلى فترة تعافٍ تمتد إلى شهر واحد قبل العودة إلى التدريبات.
ويأمل نيمار في استعادة جاهزيته سريعاً، من أجل العودة إلى صفوف المنتخب البرازيلي والمشاركة في كأس العالم 2026، المقرر إقامته في الولايات المتحدة وكندا والمكسيك.
The Brazilian star Neymar da Silva has agreed to renew his contract with Santos FC for one year, after saving the team from the nightmare of relegation.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in transfer news, Neymar has agreed to extend his contract with Santos until December 2026.
Neymar has pushed through in recent times, despite suffering from an injury, and managed to score 5 goals in the last 4 matches, directly contributing to Santos' survival in the Brazilian league.
Neymar returned to Santos last January with a 6-month contract, after mutually terminating his contract with Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal, before extending his association with the club until the end of 2025.
Successful Surgery and Recovery Period
The Brazilian star underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on December 22 to treat a cartilage injury, performed by the Brazilian national team's doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar.
According to media reports, Neymar needs a recovery period of about one month before returning to training.
Neymar hopes to regain his fitness quickly in order to return to the Brazilian national team and participate in the 2026 World Cup, which is set to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
