أثار فيديو باللغة الإسبانية جدلا واسعا على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في الأسابيع الأخيرة، يروج لاختراع أوروبي يدعى «ملابس داخلية مضادة للاغتصاب»، مصممة لتكون غير قابلة للتمزيق أو الفتح إلا بطريقة محددة، كحل للحفاظ على أمان النساء من الاعتداءات الجنسية.

حملة دعائية مشوهة

وكشفت صحيفة «20 مينوتوس» الإسبانية، في تقرير نشرته أخيراً، أن هذا الفيديو ليس سوى حملة دعائية مشوهة، استغلها ناشطون يمينيون متطرفون لنشر خطاب كراهية ضد المهاجرين، بدلاً من التركيز على الحلول الفعالة لمكافحة العنف الجنسي.

ووفقا للصحيفة الإسبانية يعود الفيديو إلى حملة إعلانية قديمة لشركة أمريكية تُدعى AR Wear، أُطلقت عام 2013 كمشروع تمويل جماعي على موقع Kickstarter، حيث جمع المشروع نحو 55 ألف دولار لتطوير ملابس داخلية واقية مصنوعة من أقمشة مقاومة للتمزيق وأقفال إلكترونية.

وكشف التقرير عن أن الشركة أغلقت أبوابها منذ سنوات، ولم يتم تسويق المنتج تجارياً في أوروبا أو أي مكان آخر، ما يجعل الادعاءات - بأنها «اختراع أوروبي جديد» كاذبة تماماً.

كذبة لناشط بريطاني عنصري

أما الفيديو المنتشر، فقد استغله ناشطون يمينيون متطرفون، وعلى رأسهم البريطاني تومي روبنسون، المعروف بخطاباته العنصرية ضد المسلمين والمهاجرين، ومؤسس «الدفاع الإنجليزي»، لربط الاختراع بـ«أزمة الهجرة».

ونشر روبنسون الفيديو على منصة «إكس» (تويتر سابقا)، مدعيا أن أوروبا «تضطر النساء إلى ارتداء ملابس واقية بدلا من إغلاق الحدود أو منع الهجرة من العالم الثالث»، ما أثار موجة من تعليقات الكراهية.

ويعد روبنسون شخصية مثيرة للجدل، حُكم عليه مرات عديدة بالسجن بسبب التحريض على الكراهية والتعدي على الأوامر القضائية، بما في ذلك إنتاج أفلام وثائقية تتهم «عصابات الاغتصاب المسلمة» بالمسؤولية عن جرائم جنسية في بريطانيا، رغم إدانة محاكم بريطانية له بتهم التشهير.

وتعليقا عى الأمر، أكدت «20 مينوتوس» أن مثل هذه الحملات تمثل «استغلالا سافرا لقضية حساسة مثل مكافحة العنف ضد المرأة، لصالح أجندات سياسية متطرفة»، ودعت المنظمات النسوية إلى التركيز على الوقاية الاجتماعية والقانونية، لا على «حلول وهمية» تُشجع على التمييز.

A video in Spanish has sparked widespread controversy on social media in recent weeks, promoting a European invention called "anti-rape underwear," designed to be tear-resistant and only open in a specific way, as a solution to keep women safe from sexual assaults.

Distorted Advertising Campaign

The Spanish newspaper "20 Minutos" revealed in a report published recently that this video is nothing but a distorted advertising campaign, exploited by far-right activists to spread hate speech against immigrants, instead of focusing on effective solutions to combat sexual violence.

According to the Spanish newspaper, the video dates back to an old advertising campaign by an American company called AR Wear, launched in 2013 as a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter, where the project raised about $55,000 to develop protective underwear made from tear-resistant fabrics and electronic locks.

The report revealed that the company closed its doors years ago, and the product was never commercially marketed in Europe or anywhere else, making the claims of it being a "new European invention" completely false.

A Lie by a Racist British Activist

The viral video was exploited by far-right activists, led by British figure Tommy Robinson, known for his racist speeches against Muslims and immigrants, and founder of the "English Defence League," to link the invention to the "immigration crisis."

Robinson posted the video on the platform "X" (formerly Twitter), claiming that Europe "forces women to wear protective clothing instead of closing borders or preventing immigration from the Third World," which sparked a wave of hateful comments.

Robinson is a controversial figure, having been sentenced multiple times to prison for inciting hatred and violating court orders, including producing documentaries that accuse "Muslim grooming gangs" of being responsible for sexual crimes in Britain, despite British courts convicting him of defamation.

In response, "20 Minutos" confirmed that such campaigns represent "a blatant exploitation of a sensitive issue like combating violence against women, for the benefit of extremist political agendas," and called on feminist organizations to focus on social and legal prevention, rather than on "illusory solutions" that encourage discrimination.
