شهد حي إمبابة الشعبي بمحافظة الجيزة في مصر مساء الخميس انفجاراً عنيفاً لماسورة غاز داخل عقار سكني، ما تسبب في انهيار جزئي للمبنى وإصابة 5 أشخاص بجروح متفاوتة، وسط حالة من الذعر بين الأهالي.
تفاصيل الانفجار والانهيار
ووفق المعاينات الأولية، وقع الانفجار داخل عقار مكوّن من دور أرضي و4 طوابق متكررة في شارع سعد زغلول بمدينة العمال، مرجّحاً أن يكون سببه تسرب غاز من أسطوانة بوتاجاز داخل إحدى الشقق. وأسفر الانفجار عن سقوط سقف الطابق الثالث بالكامل وانهيار جزئي للطابق الرابع وتحطم الواجهة الخرسانية، بينما سجّلت كاميرات المراقبة لحظة الانفجار التي أظهرت تصاعد دخان كثيف وانهياراً سريعاً لكتل خرسانية أثارت الفوضى في المكان.
تدخل أمني وإسعافي
تلقت غرفة النجدة بلاغاً بالحادثة، فانتقلت سيارات الإسعاف والإطفاء والحماية المدنية فوراً. وأفاد مصدر بهيئة الإسعاف بأن الإصابات شملت سكاناً وعابري سبيل، وجرى نقلهم إلى مستشفى التحرير المركزي، حيث أكد الأطباء استقرار حالتهم. كما تفقد مدير أمن الجيزة اللواء محمد مجدي أبوشميلة، ومحافظ الجيزة المهندس عادل النجار موقع الانفجار لمتابعة أعمال الإنقاذ والتقييم الإنشائي.
توجيهات المحافظ وتأمين المنطقة
وأوضح محافظ الجيزة أنه تم فصل الكهرباء والغاز عن العقار والعقارات المجاورة، إلى جانب البدء في تنفيذ أعمال تدعيم إنشائي لضمان السلامة قبل عودة السكان، مع التأكيد على توفير الرعاية الطبية الكاملة للمصابين والمتابعة الدقيقة لموقع الحادثة حتى الانتهاء من الإجراءات الفنية والأمنية.
وفي السياق ذاته، أعلنت شركة «تاون غاز» أن الانفجار ناتج عن أسطوانة داخلية وليس عن خطوط الشبكة الرئيسية، مؤكدة أن فرق الطوارئ اتخذت إجراءات احترازية شاملة لتأمين المنطقة وفصل الغاز والكهرباء عن الشارع بالكامل منعاً لأي تطورات إضافية.

Details of the Explosion and Collapse
According to initial investigations, the explosion occurred inside a building consisting of a ground floor and 4 repeated floors on Saad Zaghloul Street in the Workers' City, likely caused by a gas leak from a gas cylinder inside one of the apartments. The explosion resulted in the complete collapse of the ceiling of the third floor and partial collapse of the fourth floor, as well as the shattering of the concrete facade, while surveillance cameras recorded the moment of the explosion, showing thick smoke rising and rapid collapse of concrete blocks that caused chaos in the area.
Security and Emergency Response
The emergency room received a report about the incident, and ambulances, firefighting vehicles, and civil protection teams immediately rushed to the scene. A source from the ambulance authority reported that the injuries included residents and passersby, and they were transported to Al-Tahrir Central Hospital, where doctors confirmed their conditions were stable. The Director of Giza Security, Major General Mohamed Magdy Abou Shmeila, and Giza Governor Engineer Adel Al-Naggar inspected the explosion site to monitor rescue operations and structural assessment.
Governor's Directives and Securing the Area
The Giza Governor clarified that electricity and gas were cut off from the building and neighboring buildings, in addition to starting structural reinforcement works to ensure safety before residents return, emphasizing the provision of full medical care for the injured and close monitoring of the incident site until the technical and security procedures are completed.
In the same context, Town Gas Company announced that the explosion was caused by an internal cylinder and not by the main network lines, confirming that emergency teams took comprehensive precautionary measures to secure the area and completely cut off gas and electricity from the street to prevent any further developments.
