عبّر رئيس نادي الشباب المكلف عبدالعزيز بن فهد المالك عن اعتزازه بتولّي رئاسة النادي بعد قرار وزارة الرياضة تكليفه بالمنصب.

وكتب المالك عبر حسابه الرسمي بمنصة التواصل الاجتماعي «X»: «اللهم أعنّي على خدمة نادي الشباب، وبارك في عملي، واجعلني أهلاً للأمانة وموضعاً للثقة»، وأضاف: «بعظيم الامتنان، عني وعن مجلس الإدارة أتقدم بخالص الشكر والعرفان إلى قيادتنا الرشيدة حفظها الله على دعمهم المستمر للرياضة، وأخص بالشكر سمو وزير الرياضة ووزارة الرياضة على ثقتهم الكريمة بتكليفي رئاسة نادي الشباب، فهذا شرف كبير ومسؤولية عظيمة أتشرف بها لخدمة وطني من باب كبير.. باب نادي الشباب».

وكانت وزارة الرياضة قد أصدرت قراراً بإنهاء تكليف مجلس إدارة نادي الشباب برئاسة خليف بن عبدالله الهويشان، استناداً على الفقرة 100 من المادة 95 من اللائحة الأساسية للأندية الرياضية.

The acting president of Al-Shabab Club, Abdulaziz bin Fahd Al-Malik, expressed his pride in taking on the presidency of the club following the Ministry of Sports' decision to appoint him to the position.

Al-Malik wrote on his official account on the social media platform "X": "O Allah, help me serve Al-Shabab Club, bless my work, and make me worthy of the trust and responsibility," and added: "With great gratitude, on behalf of myself and the board of directors, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to our wise leadership, may God protect it, for their continuous support of sports. I would especially like to thank His Highness the Minister of Sports and the Ministry of Sports for their generous trust in appointing me as the president of Al-Shabab Club. This is a great honor and a significant responsibility that I am proud to undertake in service to my country through a great gateway... the gateway of Al-Shabab Club."

The Ministry of Sports had issued a decision to terminate the appointment of the board of directors of Al-Shabab Club, headed by Khalif bin Abdullah Al-Huwaishan, based on paragraph 100 of Article 95 of the basic regulations for sports clubs.
