قمة عربية كروية جماهيرية سيشاهدها استاد لوسيل عند تمام الساعة 5:30 من مساء اليوم (الثلاثاء) عندما يلتقي منتخب الكويت بنظيره المصري، وذلك ضمن لقاءات الجولة الأولى للمجموعة الثالثة لبطولة كأس العرب 2025 والمقامة حالياً في دولة قطر الشقيقة.

ويدخل منتخب الكويت هذه المواجهة بعد فوزه على منتخب موريتانيا بهدفين دون مقابل في التصفيات المؤهلة، ويسعى من خلال لقاء اليوم لتحقيق النقاط الثلاث للاقتراب من التأهل للدور الثاني، لا سيما أن المجموعة تعد (المجموعة الحديدية) في البطولة لوجود منتخبي الإمارات والأردن مما يجعل بطاقة العبور صعبة للغاية.

واستعد المنتخب الكويتي تحت قيادة المدرب البرتغالي هيليو سوزا بمعسكر إعدادي في العاصمة المصرية القاهرة تخللته مباريات ودية قبل أن تصل إلى الدوحة مبكراً، ويبرز في صفوف الكويت محمد دحام، صاحب بصمة الفوز على موريتانيا، إلى جانب المهاجم يوسف ناصر والحارس خالد الرشيدي.

فيما يدخل منتخب مصر هذا اللقاء معتمداً على بعض أسماء الخبرة والشباب نظراً لاستعدادات المنتخب الأول لبطولة أمم أفريقيا، إذ يغيب العديد من اللاعبين البارزين وفي مقدمتهم محمد صلاح نجم ليفربول الإنجليزي، ويبرز في المنتخب الرديف عدد من الأسماء أبرزها الحارس محمد عواد، والمدافع محمود حمدي (الونش)، والقائد محمد النني، وأكرم توفيق، وعمرو السولية، ومحمد شريف.

ويتوقع أن يشهد هذا اللقاء حضورا جماهيريا غفيرا، نظراً لتواجد عدد كبير من الجالية المصرية في منطقة الخليج ولدعم الاتحاد الكويتي لجماهيره بعد توفير رحلات خاصة إلى الدوحة لدعم المنتخب الكويتي.

A massive Arab football summit will be watched at Lusail Stadium at exactly 5:30 PM today (Tuesday) when the Kuwait national team meets its Egyptian counterpart, as part of the first round of Group C matches in the 2025 Arab Cup currently taking place in the sister country of Qatar.

The Kuwait national team enters this match after winning against the Mauritania national team with a score of two goals to none in the qualifying rounds, and they aim to achieve three points today to get closer to qualifying for the second round, especially since the group is considered the (iron group) in the tournament due to the presence of the UAE and Jordan national teams, making the path to advancement extremely difficult.

The Kuwaiti team has prepared under the leadership of Portuguese coach Helio Sousa with a training camp in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, which included friendly matches before arriving early in Doha.
